I feel Squirrel Girl should point out Marvel made the Absorbing Man act out of character in his complaints of Foster Thor... using the obvious visual gag of him turning into a strawman.

I mean , the guy is married to an amazon, Titania.

He probably wasn’t the best character to use for that.

On Issue 5 now....ahhh...I see how the controversy happened now.

You know...there’s a much more subtle way to put your politics in.

Ill admit I’m still very much a noob to dc and marvel but I have fond memories of the various animated series.

Over the years I’ve read books by people I wouldn’t agree much politics wise but they still wrote a darned good story.

For me and when it comes to entertainment, I can see why writers like Babylon 5′s JMS made it so far in both realms, by just writing compelling stuff.

Hmmmm....ill have to think on this some more. I know I’m not that eloquent when it comes to analyzing stuff but I usually read books and such to escape the constant politics of the day.

For a small while at least.

How to balance making new icons vs preserving old ones. I wonder if thats the heart of the matter?
