He's just finished assisting her in lacing up her boot, having been knelt down on a knee while his thigh supported her foot, hands steadily and carefully tugging at the strings before tying it up for her.
The good boy reaches his ears swift and catches his head turning quick to her, brows risen in a mild surprise for a moment. . .before a lopsided smile rises on his features. If he were a dog, he swears he would have a tail wagging right now, hands shoving into his jean pockets as a leg comes to swing out, giddy from the two words alone.

Of course David and the others were gonna keep the poor boy out of the loop till the very end. Now was Nico against the turning of Michael? Not necessarily, but he was against how quickly David thrust this on him. He assumes it was a last minute decision, but what did he know? He was not of their blood and thus was kept out of most important pack decisions.
Nico lets out a worried sigh and crosses his arms. "You're in the process of turning into a vampire. It's not fun, from what I've heard. You need to feed though. Blood. You came to the right person to get answers though. David would tell you you absolutely need to kill, but there is possibly another way. But that's only if you'd like to continue down this path. The path to go back to human is a dangerous one, and I sadly wouldn't suggest going down it, but it's not impossible. But I'm here for you, no matter your decision."

He stands up ruffling Marko's hair slightly before heading over to Star, running a finger down her cheek affectionately.
