Hello! So I'm the one who sent the ask before about thinking of fanfic of Fortune Won. You mentioned wanting to know what that entailed SO. Mostly, I won't lie, I love angst AND fluff. So i think a lot about Dean reaffirming to Cas how important him and their relationship is to Dean. Maybe he overhears Cas talking to someone and realizes Cas doesn't see his own value? (some guilt? love!) Sometimes i think about Cas' relationship to the father who abandoned him and the brother he never knew. (1/2
(2/2) How will Dean be involved relationship? What about Hannah? What is her relationship with Cas like? What insights does that give the Winchesters about how cas grew up and how he things? Right now, Iâm super focused on Cas and Cas and Deanâs relationship. Fortune Won is just amazing and i love thinking about it and the different ways it could play out after the last chapter. (and deans guilt is always delicious i wonât lie) !!! <3
Iâm in the very early stages of planning the sequel (though between this and that, I dunno when itâll be) but there is still a lot of this au that has purposely been unexplored for rn and youâve hit the nail on the head with things Iâve been wanting to touch on!Â
I was planning on having a kind of timestamp of some chapters of Formula Won told from Deanâs POV where you get a little more inside his head during certain parts (so expect that sometime this year *she says hopefully), but the sequel will definitely include more of Dean and Cas figuring out what it is to live their lives in both public and private life with their roles in the world (and all the countries theyâll be in). Casâs brother and father will be in it more as well and yes, Hannah will have some things to say to clue Dean in on more of Casâs life before they met. I like your enthusiasm with Cas especially because I feel like Formula Won mightâve been more Dean-centered and learning about the world, so itâll be fun to learn more about Cas this time around.Â
âCas doesnât see his own valueâ is something I had not thought about to be honest, but I can totally see it matching up with something Iâve been drilling in my notebook and just hadnât connected them.
Also, âFortune Wonâ honestly just cracks me up (good sequel name, no @adoringjensen? lol I blame you) because I also had this issue when writing it out at the beginning XD Autocorrect just kept thinking âFormula Wonâ was not a normal phrase or something (again, @adoringjensen I blame you but not really XD)
Also, this extends out to anyone thatâs read Formula Won.Â
