What I said: Electoral politics will not save us. Electoral politics are not enough. Focusing on electoral politics as a main strategy to end oppression coopts energy that could be put to better use. Electoral politics are set up to perpetuate and justify the political system, not to provide for the people. Electoral politics is like voting on which shit sandwich will be shoved down your throat. We need to do more than vote or march in the streets with signs saying one side or the other is bad or demand party loyalty.
What I did not say: Don't vote. Don't push politicians left. Don't demand better from politicians. Let fascism win.
