Borre style viking age pendant with traces of gilding, found in Hedmark, Norway. To the right, our reference for identification (Petersen 1928 Fig. 158). This design of pendant is found primarily in eastern central Norway (Hedmark), with one exception in western Norway, and one in Iceland (pictured). Interesting to note that the slight crookedness of the terminal is the same in both pieces, indicating they were both cast in the same mold, and most likely were produced in Hedmark.
