       his words were more than FRUSTRATING. it was almost second-nature to grab for her saber, grip tightening on the hilt, though she doesn’t remove it.

              ‘ i would watch your TONGUE if i were you. ’

      Kylie pauses, and even though Nar TOWERED over her ( Kylie was, admittedly, pretty short ), she still was able to hold a sort of commanding, threatening air. most would be TERRIFIED of her--the fact that he wasn’t was even more infuriating.

                             ‘ you think I won’t HURT you ?

                                          That I can’t RUIN you ?

( NAR. )           ;;        fingers trace along the balcony ledge, aged oak prickling at calloused flesh. the night had blanketed him, calmed the never-ending nerves that had taken him hostage. nightmares never ceased, and sleep had become a  rare privilege as of late. anguish flickered at the ends of his aura, though the answer to the questions he pondered relentlessly seemed to be so far from reach. he would not admit the temptations he brushed away, would not admit the fear lingering behind a brave facade. he did not want to lose anything, not anyone else. not again.
