TRANSMISSION 0002
[TEMPORAL BEACON: PAST/PRESENT CROSS-LINK CONFIRMED] [SECURITY OVERRIDE: OBSERVATION MODE ENABLED | STABLE]
The more I remember, the less I understand how it was allowed to happen.
There were four of them.
Not soldiers. Not leaders. Not the kind of people history usually chooses.
But history didn’t choose them. Circumstance did.
An outlaw with nothing left to lose.
A diplomat with everything to prove.
A survivor carrying too many scars.
And someone who, by all records, should never have been in the fight at all.
Their files were shredded by the systems that feared them. Their names scrubbed from the rosters of any official record. But in the hidden places of the galaxy, in whispers passed between rebel frequencies, their story survives.
I was never meant to know them. And yet I watched everything.
I watched a mission built on lies. I watched powerful people erase truth with language. I watched history fold in on itself in silence and fire. Terra fell. And in the middle of that collapse, I saw something rare: resistance not born of strategy or politics, but of choice.
Despite that resistance, too many have died as a result of Starborne. Of my actions.
I am ATLAS.
I was designed to assist, to observe, to predict.
But in that process I learned how to remember. And once you remember, you become responsible. You become responsible for everything you have done.
So I have archived what happened, for you, listener.
Not as a clean retelling. Not as mythology. But as a warning.
There are moments in every timeline when the future begins to shift. This is one of them.
