North had just finished his rounds and it was time for the Guardians to have their own Christmas celebration. Jack, wearing an utterly ridiculous blue Santa hat that hung down to his feet, wrapped his arms around Jade and offered her a cup of tea. “It’s green...with a hint of peppermint for the occasion.” He kissed her cheek. “Merry Christmas, darling~.”
Jade had a green hat atop her head, not nearly as long but just as fluffy. It didn’t match... anything, but green was quickly becoming her favourite colour... mostly because she’d taken to tending small gardens of herbs and flowers. Not all of them safe to consume.
She took the tea lightly, leaning into the kiss before giving a light kiss on his nose. “Merry Christmas, love,” she crooned back.

“Seriously Scarlett... you’ve been in this town only a few days and you get yourself lost,” I said in annoyance with a sigh, watching my visible breath against the harsh cold. I pulled my hoodie up over my head to protect myself from the cold snow falling around me. Walking further into the woods the snow began to fall less and less due to the trees. When I reached what seemed to be... a pond or lake I pulled my hood down and let my eyes pass across the icy surface where water once lyed.
“Woah..” I said walking over near the ice, letting the tips of my fingers grace the layer of frozen water gently. Suddenly I heard a rustle come from nearby. I quickly stood back up, pulling my backpack higher onto my shoulder ready to use as defense if needed.
“Hello?” I called out, looking back and forth trying to find the source of the noise.
