                              he   just   needed   to   sneak   onto   a   first   order   ship   with   nothing   but   a   blaster   &   no   back   up .   what   could   go   wrong  ?

body    shoves    past           sweaty    club   goers    as    he    makes    his    way    across    the    dance   floor    from    the    bar.            he    had    gone    out    for   a    cigarette        &        returned    to    get    a    drink         ,          although    he    soon    realized    he    had    to    take    a    piss.             he’d    sneak    his    drink    into    the    bathroom        ,          though.              hiding    it    beneath    his    jacket    as    he    made   his    way    into    the    grimy    space.           though    that’s   when    he    heard    it.           familiar    moans    coming    from   the    third    stall.           standing    at    the    urinal       &        listening    for    the    muffled    sounds    just    to    be   sure.               though    anger    has    already    risen    within   him    entirely        ,          &      he    hardly    has    time    to    zip    up    his    pants         &         set    down    the    glass    of    scotch    before   kicking    down    the    door.             “what    the    fuck    ?”               he    grunts.           the    sound    primal.          gripping    the    man    by    his    neck       &        throwing    him  across    the    room.           fist     immediately   connecting    with    his    jaw.           the    unnamed    man    falls         &        that’s    when    richard    finds    himself    crouching    over    the    half-dressed    asshole          &        beating    him    to    a    bloody    pulp.          punching        &        punching    until    his    face    was    almost  unrecognizable.           eye    swollen    closed.              richard    stands    up    before    spitting    at    the    writhing   body.              “dani   !”                 he    yells.            wiping  the    blood    from    his   face    with    the    back    of    his    hand.         breathing   heavily.            “we’re    leaving.”

he    approaches    her    with    a    drink.          having    asked    her    to    hold    his    own    before  bringing    her    one    as    he    was    obviously    unable    to    carry    both    in    one    hand.            “thank    you    darling.”             he    winks.            smiling.              soft    by    his    standards.              glad    to    be    finally    meeting    her    despite    her    all    too    positive        &        goody    goody    persona   online.        seemingly    a    little    different    in    person.         a    spark    he    has    yet    to    identify.         “i   trust    you’re    having    fun.”            head    tilts.             smile   fading    as    he    licks    his    lips.
