It's always a good question to ask ourselves from time to time - How heavy, how deliberately, are we treading through the world? Are we stomping through with a heavy footstep, unmindful of our wake of destruction? Or, are we treading so lightly, so silently, that no one knows where we've been or where we're going? • Or - do we forge a careful, deliberate path, one well worn that others might easily follow? • We all have natural, innate tendencies in how we relate to the world. Some of us tend to be heavy walkers and basically bull our way through the world, others are light on their feet, so light, like a butterfly, as to be uncatchable and fleeting. • There is a way, however, through conscious deliberation, that we can forge a path that embodies a light footstep placed with care, that also, over time, creates a well worn path that others can not only see, but also follow if they choose to do so. This isn't the path formed from hurried actions or loud voices, but a path forged with pause, reflection, and examination before each step, then deliberate, firm placement of each foot. Repeated as many times as necessary for as long as necessary. Our paths are forged over lifetimes, not hours or days or even months. Our world, our future generations, depend on how consciously we move through now, how deliberate and careful we are with our next steps. • Will we pass on a world cut through with destruction? Or a world with no discernable path? OR - will we pass along a world that shows we walked with as much consideration and care as humanly possible? • #walking #forgingapath #wakeofdestruction #notrace #generationaltrauma #consciousness #deliberateaction #walksoftlyyetdeliberately https://www.instagram.com/p/CDZBAQHpaHq/?igshid=woj9y83mau5y
