She looked out of place but Polunochnaya didn’t care, she breezed through the streets with her face turned to the sky: up at the rows and rows of windows up above. Back at home her sisters were entertaining Human clients who wished to know sweet lies about their unfortunate futures, and no doubt there were many Polunochnaya could gift knowledge to, information far more reliable than the other Zorya’s, but the mood hadn’t taken her.
In the late evening all Polunochnaya wanted to do was go for a walk. To nowhere in particular, just where ever her feet took her.
Her impulse had led her outside a club, where music thumped so deep she felt it in her chest, and the young woman came to a stop outside it, her light white gown tickling her ankles in the breeze.
Bright eyes settled on one woman in the throes of drunken Humans, radiating o t h e r that sparked curiosity in the Zorya sister’s keen mind. She smiled.
“Cześć, stranger in a strange place” Polunochnaya greeted as she padded around Humans towards the peculiar lady.
