It took me a long time but I finally found a longplay of this game and I could not be happier! This family-friendly point-and-click adventure game right here is another nugget of my childhood that refused to die despite it falling into relative obscurity.
The game basically had you spending three days in the titular Forestia, a floating island consisting mostly of woodlands, with the adventure divided over nine randomly-picked episodes divided equally over the morning, afternoon, and evening. Each episode revolved around a different fantastical premise and would present a new theme and gameplay gimmick, which included but weren't limited to:
Painting one of the landscapes around Forestia as a birthday gift to Daddy Oak, only to run out of specific colors of paint, so you have to use a pair of hi-tech glasses in order to spot those specific colors in the wild so you can refill them.
A surprisingly scary Myst-style explorative deal where the player has a nightmare in which Forestia has fallen to ruin by some dark force, and the dragon that's supposed to protect the island in times of need has grown too old to do anything, so it's up to you to figure out through clues sprinkled around the island how to break the evil spell.
A dungeon-crawling maze where you, as a shrunken-down human, have to navigate your way around an anthill to find the crown and deliver it to the ant queen, switching between your ant and scarab disguises in order to evade capture.
Combined with this was the ability to freely explore the island and fill up your educational scrapbook by picking flowers or taking pictures of the animals you encounter in different times of the day.
Lol you people are freaks, thanks and bless you all
