Look. If you know the lore of both, the comparison makes sense.
They are similar.
Except Tezzoree is FAR sexier.

It may be obvious from my recent posts, but I think a great and underused trope is our protagonists finding some powerful artifact in the ruins of an ancient civilization.
They use it to lay waste to their enemies a couple times, but then later they finish translating the writings from those ruins and it's, "This is a powerful artifact that we found in the ruins of some ancient civilization. Our rulers plan to use it against our enemies but maybe we shouldn't?" Just multiple sequential apocalypse macguffin.

You can't tell me these conversations aren't top tier
"We thought you'd do something exciting"
"We're still waiting"
@kyroos
Don't you just hate it when one of your highest ranking military commanders has a breakdown after a traumatising conversation with an inhuman, malicious entity and tries to fuck everything up with a plan that looks good to him but is in actual fact terrible and advances the interests of the malignant entity?
"Ironwood, do you have a moment? Just a moment. That's all it will take."
I forgot how abruptly hilarious Greg Bear can be.Β
