This study evaluates the abstract-to-publication conversion rate of research presented at the annual congresses of the International Society of Forensic Radiology and Imaging (ISFRI) between 2012 and 2022. Out of 464 abstracts, 47.6% were later published as full-text articles, with most appearing in the society’s journal Forensic Imaging (formerly Journal of Forensic Radiology and Imaging). The findings show a comparatively strong publication rate within radiological sciences, though more than half of the presented research remains unpublished, highlighting the need to address barriers to publication.
