She cannot say ‘no’ to most things. Because, ‘if they ask for ice cream and M&Ms how can I act like that isn’t a good idea?’

Bed time stories are always fun because Emily gets almost as immersed in them as the boys do and she does different character voices.

Trying to convince the boys that Santa is capable of making it all over the planet is hysterical because Uncle Reid said it was logistically impossible. As a result, JJ ‘calls’ Santa but it’s just Emily on the other end pretending to be Santa. Somehow it works.

Whenever one of the boys is sick Emily does everything in her power to make them forget how crappy they feel. She’ll watch movies with them, play board games, and even do tickle fights.

This sometimes leads to Emily also getting sick which only exasperates JJ.

Emily has a bad habit of saying bad words and when the boys start repeating them she has to bribe them with candy not to say them in front of JJ.

Sometimes when Emily is staying over the boys will wake up to use the bathroom but notice that the living room lamp is on. They sometimes find her awake from nightmares and sit next to her or in her lap on the couch. JJ finds them all cuddled up together the next morning.

Both of the boys often beg JJ to have Emily stay for dinner by doing the deep breathed long lasting “PLEEEEEEEAAAAASSSEEEE!” Only for Emily to also go “PLEEEEEEAAASSSEEEE?”

When Emily finds out some punk is picking on ‘her boys’ at school it takes the entire team at the BAU to convince her she can’t attack an elementary school kid. Does that stop her from putting the fear of god in them? No. No it doesn’t.

Whenever the kids at school start bragging about how cool their parents are, the boys don’t pull their punches, “my uncle Reid is smarter than all of your parents combined, uncle Morgan has tackled more people than a football player, grandpa Rossi is rich, uncle hotch makes bad guys pee their pants, aunt Garcia once hacked the government, my mom survived torture, my Emily died and came back to life.”
