Haida News! Last week, we shared the first part of the interview of one Haida’s sports teacher. Here we will share the rest part of the interview.

Q. What has impressed you most when you work in your current school?

U.The biggest impression for me in my current school is that more than 70 percent kids can speak English very well, that is the biggest surprise for me..Also the working system is amazing here, and the teachers are helping each other.

Q. What are you most proud of being a teacher?

U.I am generally proud to be a teacher, because i am helping youngsters to gain ability, to cooperate with each other also to be respectful to their friends, family and to love sports.

Q.What’s your first impression of Hangzhou?

U.Big city, a lot of natural landscapes, good people and delicious food.  

Q.Will you always stay in Hangzhou, or will you consider going to other cities after a few years?

U.For now i will stay in Hangzhou, i like this city, but who knows what will happen for couple of years, or even next year…I just wish that this virus will stop exiting very soon, so i can see and travel more around China.

Recently Haida interviewed another foreign teacher in Haida.Her name is Iva and she is a music teacher in Haida. I will put what she shared here and hope her story can help you. 

Warm regards to everyone, my name is Iva. I'm from Serbia. I'm a music teacher working in the public education system in China, for over 5 years now, and that's the same amount of time I've been working for Haida as well. And I want to share a few aspects of my personal experience with you.

First of all, the public education system of China. Naturally, I was interested in how things are set up here, because I've been a teacher for 24 years now, of course most of that time back in Europe, and half a decade here in China. so I've been visiting different kinds of public schools, primary, middle, high schools, serving different kinds of subject teaching, like science, math, of course classes of my colleagues, music classes, art P.E., staff like that, because I was interested to learn about the similarities and differences between the public education system in China and the European one. And I have  to tell you that I'm personally so amazed because of what I've learnt. I truly and honestly believe that public schools of China are preparing these young people to be very very superior generations and in very very near future, and globally. So I'm more than happy and proud, also thankful to be part of this whole process here.

The second thing, working for Haida, has been a growing experience, apparently as I've been working for the company for half a decade. And I want to say that I'm personally very satisfied with our business relationship. And that brings me to my point, it's all about what you expect from your employee. I love about Haida is that they have a lot of connections with public schools, so this is what I'm interested in, never ever problems with visa and residence permit issues.

I'm really happy to be part of the great team. We are making here in this wonderful country, and everyone wanna live in prosper.
