The other day I was driving and saw a police officer in a new Ford Interceptor. Usually, when I see a police car I begin to panic and expect him or her to whip around and pull me over even though I am obeying all the laws. However, as I watched the police car I found myself imaging getting pulled over. I decided that if I did I would HAVE to ask how he or she liked their new vehicle. Being a Ford fanatic, I love seeing the new Ford Interceptor and would love to drive one. Unfortunately, the Interceptor is only available to the law enforcement community. This led me to wondering what the penalty was for stealing a police car? And if the risk was worth it? Common sense overtook me and I continued on my way, obeying all the laws. Is it wrong to want to drive a car that has a super power engine capable of high speed chases? Is it wrong to want to drive a car not available to the public? I say NO...as long as you are a police officer. And since I don't see myself becoming a police officer any time soon, I guess I must patiently wait until the Ford Interceptors are sold by the Police Stations at their auctions...OR until Ford makes a civilian version of the same car. Until that day, I can only watch as police officers get the privilege of driving such a magnificent specimen of a car. All other cars cower in fear and shame at the sight.
