(This is ought-to-be-thy-adam, but my blog is under another blog of mine so I'm submitting this anonymously to keep them separate)
you reblogging my tags has reminded me just how easy it is to interact with others in these Internet spaces. i am just starting to getting around to sharing my personal thoughts with people due to reasons, so your friendliness is very uplifting.
anyways yeah, i actually have so many doll tf thoughts that don't often focus on "forcegendering" the subjects of the transformation (mostly because the characters I project this onto were already the types of guys I find appealing), more focusing on those aspects and playing it up in cartoony ways, usually for the contrast of "beautiful item made to be adored is actually acting in an unsightly manner." The inorganic trying so hard to be organic; toys trying so hard to be seen as real boysâwhich I suppose in that way is a type of genderplay. It's very tied up with my experiences as a trans man. I also had a strange attachment to Disney's Pinocchio when I was younger. That could also be a contributor.
thats awesome i love that i think pinocchio is an iconic tf subject for so many reasons for so many folks truly a staple of the tf community
and i love the idea of something "beautiful" acting manly and unsightly trying to be one a "real boy"
articulated china doll who says fuck it and leaves his place on the shelf to try and define himself at one point he finds a sharpie and draws a fun lil goatee and chest hair china doll who cuts a hole in the discarded silk mattress tag in order to make himself a cool manly sleeveless tank top
china doll who keeps being put back on the shelf no matter what he does having the sharpie cleaned off and his manly clothes removed revealing the sculpted on bow ties and dresses no matter how many times he tries so instead he starts to find new and inventive ways to crack his beautiful shell at first its one little drop off of the couch onto his dress then its a dive off the cabinet then its sandpaper he found in the garage then is corrosive chemicals its making sure hes put away with water inside him so it will mold and these cracks cant be erased this reality cant be undone he will resculpt his own body no matter what anyone says
eventually he is so broken up its hard to even move his owner is so worried for "her" unsure what to do eventually the dolls master buys a small kintsugi kit with a plan to find all "her" missing pieces and put them back together instead when the owner leaves he finds something much greater than the freedom of destroying himself the ability to create self kintsugi surely isnt easy but hes been hiding the pieces and no matter how jagged and malformed the end result he did it himself a true self made man
