Hux was returning from a mission to oversee the construction of a smaller First Order base on a lesser known planet closer to the core planets. He sat back in his seat in his small shuttle as he tried to relax from the overall stress. There was only three stormtroopers with him because it was suppose to be a quick trip.Â
He was trying to meditate, the only Force related thing he allowed himself to do in the presense of other people. He had kept it hidden from his father and his academy teachers. No one but himself knew about them. They weren’t anything spectacular. He could vaguely read thoughts and move things with his mind. He did like the ever present living energy that surrounded him.
Writing about a bearded, Force-sensitive Hux has inspired me to draw him.Â

The Starkiller base has been destroyed. His ambitions crushed, Hux starts having the recurring dream again. Adrift in a sea of uncertainty, he tries to make sense of strange, new emotions and sudden, cryptic visions. Ren begins acting bizarrely, seeks him out, asks him to stay by his side. A new base is in the works and Hux is offered a second chance. But things rarely turn out as planned. A cloaked figure tries to guide Hux towards a decision, but is it the right one? Â Â

(Long version: I’m so glad you’re a fan! I want to tell you a billion million things about my thoughts on Force-sensitive Hux but I want to save it for actual fic! Which is definitely being planned. Basically, I like the idea of a Hux who was cut off from the Force at a young age – the term I usually prefer is ‘cursed’ – and so as an adult he's seen as unusually un-receptive to it, but he at some point manages to reclaim his abilities. Whether or not this drives him mad with powerlust… we’ll see…)

aLRIGHTY THEN so I’m pretty sure the thing in this that got me the most was *drumroll* Hux’s hands. His haaaaands. They’re all scarred up and imperfect and he hides them with gloves and I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT THIS ALRIGHT?
Yes the hands thing was my idea, by the way. It's part of a fic I'm... not working on at the moment  but it will eventually happen. As I said to @kadigan2 "Basically, this story revolves around a Hux who was born Force-sensitive but was blocked off from the Force by a very powerful user (who will be undescribed at the moment) when he was young. The scars were injuries he got in the moments he was blocked, so they kind of manifest that curse and thus can't be fixed with surgery, because they come back."
