Some people find peace with in the noises of the night. I resignate along with the noises of the rain, through-out the patter of rain elves dancing on my roof; I find peace in the destruction of the way it breaks down things, of human made creations crumbling to surround us with nature. It is you, me, and the rain; it is more us than us is ourselves - the rain is sliding against your skin, two drops racing after the other and the winner is whichever one swings more gracefully in the sunlight - it is dark, the only light is her smile. Something I haven't seen in the shortest while, she has the short end of the stick as she insists that it's a better weapon but I say her lips are mass destruction.
