Sadiq Khan: Put a statue of Freddie Mercury in Kensington London (or any other area in central London)
After reading a post about how horrible it is that Freddie Mercury. after 26 years, still doesn't have a statue in London, I thought it was about time his true fans, people committed to the cause would do something so I started a new petition asking the Mayor for a statue in Freddie's honor, there, in London.
I saw people demanding for a statue there for another cause and they got it with 65 thousand signatures, I think we can do that and beyond if we want, that just depends on us fans.
A much right fan said:
“We want a statue of Freddie Mercury in London because his fans are not happy about what Mary Austin has done to his house in Kensington, covering the garden walls and door in plastic to stop fans leaving tributes as we have been doing for over 25 years. Please sign this petition to erect a fitting monument to Freddie in the city he called home”
