Last part of this workshop was the envelope poem. I chose a small poem be Emily Dickinson titled ‘I’m Nobody! Who are you?’ that I thought fits with my Stranger brief and wrote it inside a used envelope. I played around with the transparency of the envelope’s window so depending on the way of the folding, the poem is sometimes visible but other times blurred and unreadable. This is something that I find connects with me personally and the brief that I chose to explore. Sometimes I find myself hidden, out of sight not able to be understood(’Nobody’) but also the other way around: I find everyone around me not able to be understood.
