Custom Kydex saw rig .
I was commissioned to make up a kydex belt carry rig for a Bahco Laplander folding saw by an Ex Australian forces Tumblr follower .
The rig can be belt carried either horizontally at the small of the back or vertically via a large Blade -tech tek lock or fixed direct to a MOLLE pack via a Malice clip or MOLLE lock.
The open design of the sheath allows crud ,moisture & saw dust etc to pass through easily when traveling in the Bush .
It also allows the saw to be carried either as a low rider (so doesn't ride high on a belt interfering with the user ) or as a high rider if it needs to be quickly sheathed and then used again just by pushing it down further into the open sheath but it cant pass all the way through the open bottom end .
I also made up a spare blade holder which can be affixed to the sheath if needs be but is realy designed to be carried securely inside a pack .
I received an email today from the Customer saying it had arrived safe and had been out on Walk about in the Bush which is great news .
