“Is it... broken?” She glances back at the door. “It was supposed to take me somewhere else, right...?” She stares at it, wondering if William had just played another damn joke on her.

Head turned at the familiar voice after ending his rant about his uncle to find him standing there... and his tired, glowing yellow eyes bored holes into him. He still scoffed at him, taking slow steps towards the other as one hand reached up to remove his mask. Revealing an equally tired, scarred and broken face. “I... am his shadow - the true self that he’s accepted, only it seems that he was too late. What I said is the absolute truth. I’m not afraid of you or him. You’re a horrible father, chasing after a damn shadow and leaving your child behind!” Kingpin hissed, glaring at the other. “You should be ashamed or at the very least, listen to her damn worries instead of leaving it all up to her Big Bro!”

“Right... here.”

Adachi was guilty of this, it didn’t take a genius to figure it out. His dear friend, Dojima, was more important than himself. Just like his friends who abandoned him without a second thought. Disgusting. Friends were disgusting. This town was boring. How could he live here? Sighing, he drummed his fingers on the desk. “Are you planning to take on the Shadows or perhaps escape? You’d better think this through carefully. I still have the upper hand.” He reminded him with a cruel smirk on his lips.

The male grunted and struggled to stand up on his feet. That accursed Shadow struck him with light, which was his weak point, but somehow he survived this time, unable to do anything. Thankfully, Izanami defeated it without showing any mercy once she discovered its weakness and aimed to assist him. “My face...” He mumbled, turning away. Truthfully, it had been scratched by their foe earlier, his clothes were torn. He was out of breath. He needed to control his Persona better. Now, his gaze fell on the silver-haired female. “It’s only a scratch. But some medicine would be... nice.” He didn’t have the strength to speak properly.

“Who are you and how did you get here?” He spoke as his golden eyes glowed brightly at the intruder that manage to get deep in the sanctuary without the shadow noticing which pissed him off... Of course if the person answered honestly (or at least if he believe that he was telling the truth) then he was willing to welcome the other into the sanctuary... Permanently.

Yu bit his lip, feeling guilty already and quickly dusted off his pants as best as he could, then finally leaving his room and going downstairs to meet with his uncle. “Welcome home, uncle. Is something wrong?” He tried to sound innocent, yet he knew the man would figure it out sooner or later.
