do you think you have a monopoly on anger?

A funny question , that. A MONOPOLY ON ANGER. Did his knuckles not perpetually carry bruises from fighting ? Did his misaligned nose not betray the upper class young man his father tried to make him into ? Did he not still show scars from that too ? Was anger not so DEEPLY ingrained into him that it was immediately obvious that anger was all he ever had ? He wasn’t sure if it was a comfort or not to think someone might see more to him than that. He didn’t know what he was without anger.

            A slight start, a twitch of his shoulders, startled like a kid caught with his hand in a cookie jar. R twists around to watch the small man pace across the roof of the RV and settle himself beside the taller. There’s a mug of coffee in one hand and a cigarette resting between slender fingers, and an amused smile touches R’s features. “So I’ve been warned.” He sets his mug down on the chipped roof, passes the reusable coffee filter and a bag of coffee grounds to Dwight. Never mind that there’s neither hot water nor an extra mug up here. “Been working for you all these years though, hasn’t it??”

❛  listen,  dude,  i’m  telling  you,  this  shit  is  real.  ❜      so  maybe  she  was  a  few  drinks  in  right  now  and  rattling  on  about  supernatural  nonsense,  but  it  wasn’t  going  to  stop  the  enthusiasm  that  wafts  in  the  air.  if  anything,  it  just  gave  her  more  motivation  and  juice  to  keep  rambling  on  about  supposed  ghosts  and  shadows  that  haunted  the  arklay  mountains.  stupid  stories  people  told  for  years,  shifty  figures  that  walked  about  in  the  midst  of  the  fog  that  clung  to  the  trees.       ❛  you  just  gotta  fucking  believe  me.  ❜

r is always cold as it is and is not a fan of the freezing weather. having grown up in montana, he has endured plenty of snow heavy winters and could live without ever dealing with the snow again. he’ll eventually find that he enjoys the pnw winters--there’s minimal snow and the temperatures don’t often drop below freezing. with all that being said, r does enjoy the chillier weather, because he is a big softy at heart who wants to sit inside with a mug of coffee or tea, buried under a blanket, in his spot on the couch, and watch the rain fall while listening to his favorite record.
