CWs: Anaphylactic shock, unclear character status
"Hey, Sam, you alright?" Jeremy asked.
"Yeah. Just," He cleared his throat. "Got a little something in my throat."
He kept scratching his throat, grimacing. His face was getting more and more pale by the minute. His breathing had turned into an audible wheeze.
"Sam?! A-Are you having an allergic reaction?!" He shot up. "Oh god, where's your Epi-pen?!"
He rummaged through Sam's backpack, trying to find the Epi-pen. It was a mess in there. Textbooks, notebooks, folders, granola bars - No sign of his Epi-pen anywhere.
His wheezing was getting louder and louder. His face was turning red.
"Sam! Sam, hold on! I'll get your pen! It's gonna be-" He screamed when Sam collapsed to the floor, convulsing. "SAM! FUCK!! C'MON!" He pulled his phone out and dialed 911.
"Hello?! I need an ambulance at my house immediately! My friend's having an allergic reaction. He can't breathe!" He looked at his friend, tears streaming down his face.
Sam's face and neck was red and splotchy, his airway had swollen up and he was turning blue. He grabbed his arm, begging him not to leave him.
"I won't, Sam. I won't. You'll be okay."
