I hope you read the gorgeous fic by @oceaxereturns, because it is super hot, and aligns perfectly with my hc that Harry would not be hairy. Plus Draco with a careful and steady hand just…nggh.

Ahhhh!!! REALLY???? OMG that’s probably one of my favs, @firethesound wrote such an amazing story with the Light More Beautiful (honestly all their fics are breathtaking). I loved the first scene, but I think my favourite part was how rooted Pots and Pans were in their friendship. It’s an incredible fic, and I’m so glad you read it!!! (and that you enjoyed the foam!)

OMG!!! Yes, my foam friends! My first one was for @erin-riwen ‘s amazing fic, Autumn Leaves. 

There, in the back garden, Harry was sweeping the leaves into giant piles and then jumping into them.  Like a child. Like a very happy, carefree child and Draco couldn’t help it, he laughed along with him.

I had screamed and fangirled over @julcheninred ‘s gorgeous paper art. She made me feel empowered, like another media would be welcome in the fandom. like it was okay that I wasn’t great with pencil or pen, that I could still make something. Her paper art is magnificent and gives me chills with all of its detail and I’m so glad that I now can call her a friend.

I like working with foam because it’s pretty forgiving, and I think the divets and the rough cuts sometimes give it a nice flair. Life isn’t perfect, a little fraying and dried glue isn’t going to ruin anything, and that keeps me sane. I used to draw a lot and I would really get upset every time I felt like I wasn’t getting it right, taking an eraser and just go to town. To this day I can’t use an eraser without getting chills, without feeling sticky and sweaty and nauseous.

I was so inspired by this scene in Augury Forecast that I had to make a fan art foam friend!  I loved the idea of the intricate magic in this fic, weaving in through the castle, guiding the wind and the rain and the heat to push these two together in a storm of emotion and tenderness, as soft and fluffy as the chair they share together.
