I added a skylight to the bedroom and I just like how the sunlight and shadows play out now.
you know the one problem I have around the minutemen quest lines is the resolution around Quincy, or lack of one.
The Quincy Massacre is a defining moment in the Minutemen and Prestons history and yet in no point do we have either a mission or companion quest to retake or avenge Quincy, it’s just dropped after you become the general and never mentioned again.
What should of happened is after Old Guns you would get either get a quest from Ronnie or a companion quest for Preston regarding Quincy, Ronnie would have you wipe out the Gunners there and retake the town, either turning it into a settlement or after a few days a new town for you to trade with. Or with Preston the quest could focus on taking down Clint as justice for betraying Hollis’ group and then we get a conversation with Preston allowing him closure.
Instead we get a really shit creation club addon that just has you kill all the gunners and gives you paint jobs for power armour. And a mod that adds a quest that retakes Quincy.
Mod: “City of Quincy - New Settlement”

the settlement is fully functional with working recruitment, supply lines and navmeshing + more.
You can finally retake Quincy from the Gunners! This makes Quincy a fully functional settlement. You can recruit settlers, create supply lines
Hudson House at Dalton Farm
The Morning Tide
Article by Deborah Plank
Work began early in the morning, the large fusion generator based off of old Vault-Tec plans providing ample power for the large house currently under construction shining blue-white against the sky.
Cap'n Sentinel-General Vincent Hudson and Detective Nick Valentine (friend of Far Harbor and distant relative of the Synths of Acadia) oversaw the construction. Apparently our Captain is a capable engineer and of course, the Synth Detective had the wiring in hand (also, literally).
The land was originally owned by the Dalton family but the last remaining member, our dear septuagenarian Cassie, passed along the deeds to Cap'n Vin after he righteously avenged her family. The old farmhouse that once stood there was ruined by the earthquake of '27, right after dear old Grandpa George was lost and had to be torn down but ol' George's workshop shed stands solid.
Work was hampered by fog - even despite several condensers, compliments of our Acadian friends - and so our brave Cap'n worked a miracle, albeit a scientific one, shooting weather altering shells up into the sky for a brief respite. It was impressive, though short-lived but enough to chase a dangerous rad-storm away. It's a good job the Children of Atom found their ultimate 'division' at last as they'd have been after our Mainland-born hero with irradiated pitchforks!
As you can see, there is still much work to be done and when The Morning Tide managed to catch Captain Vincent Hudson on a brief Vim break, he only had this to say:
"I'm most grateful to Mrs. Dalton. This'll make a fine home for the Far Harbor division of the Minutemen, recruits pulled solely from Harborfolk, of course."
This reporter was surprised that he was not planning to live here himself and enquired about it, to which he enigmatically replied:
"No, no. My energy's tied to a different place."
You can catch Vin on Twitch every Wednesday! I'll be continuing the build next week.
