“Franzy,” Maya whines. “Please don’t tell me you don’t have any medicine in this massive house?”
“Of course, beloved,” Franziska crosses her arms. “What would you rather I tell you?”
“Franzyyyyyyy,” whimpers Maya again, overdramatically falling to pieces as she throws back her head, howling to the popcorn ceiling’s unseen moon. “You’re killing me. I’m dying. I’m assigning your brother to my murder trial.”
“If that’s meant to be a threat, I’ll have you know I’m hardly intimidated.”
“You seriously don’t even have like… pain meds or anything?”
“I told you, I do not get sick,” Franziska says. “It’d be a waste to just let medicine expire in the cupboards.”
“Ugh, this is no good,” Maya rolls off Franziska, crossing her own arms as she thinks. “I can’t even make a drugstore run for you, the only German words I know are rude ones.”
“Don’t be so unsure of yourself.” Franziska grins. “We love to be rude.”
“I don’t think my smithery of fuckwords is gonna get me very far, babe.”
