( Send â for a favorite movie of my museâs. )
thereâs a bunch of films that nina likes. this film isnât considered her favorite one, but she finds ma vie de courgette ( my life as zucchini ) one of ninaâs favorite films because it tells the story of an orphan who was abused by his family acclimating to the orphanage as he learns what defines family to a person is much more than the people who tie you by blood. it reminds nina of how close she holds her members towards her heart, and at times, it emphasizes the LACK of familial relationships she has with anyone in her life. at times, nina feels too lonely and would like to watch french films like these ones that analyze the way people come and go in a personâs life.
( Send â for a crush my muse has had. )
as much as the company pushing her image as this classy, cold city girl, nina is actually quite soft hearted. when she was younger, her mom made her focus on her dance troupe activities and she didnât interact much with her classmates outside of school as much as other normal teens. so it wouldnât have come as a surprise that over the years, being family friends with @fmmilesâ also meant that he was the only steady presence of a boy around her age. being a shy teenage girl exploring her femininity, and had naive romantic ideals, nina couldnât help but grow a small crush on the only boy who was nice and sweet to her. too bad she knew he was gay, but it still didnât stop her from blushing when he would act too nicely to her. to this day, nina still canât live it down. ( not that miles would ever let her though. )
( Send â for a death headcanon. )
when nina was a toddler, she wandered out onto the streets of lyon away from the small boutique that her mom owned and nearly been ran over by a car. surprisingly, it wasnât the first time that it happened ( nina would walk away from her momâs supervision    or rather lack of supervision more than once while she was a child. ) and it were those near death experiences as a child that created the distrust that nina had in her mom. whenever she thinks of times where she had been in serious danger, it would always bring her back to when she strayed out of her momâs too busy life as a child, and even now it could be said that sheâs been feeling less alive as an idol, miles away from her mom, than she was as a teen in new york.
