“I think you’re in the wrong place,” Trevor said, leaning out of the door of his dressing room, staring at the girl that stood before him. This was the third time that the door had been knocked on by another idol who was looking for their dressing room. “I think Wish’s dressing room might be down the hall that way,” he pointed in the opposite direction where he had seen one of Hanli’s group members go. “But you can chill in here if you want or whatever. I still have a while before I have to go on stage and rehearse with the rest of my group.” He glanced at the door. “They should really put signs on these things. You know how many idols are getting lost around here because of lack of signs?”

                  collaborations always wore him out. raewoon usually had difficulty getting along with others past formalities. of course, working for a week or more for a collaborative stage would mean getting closer. eventually. but he was just not feeling it. especially since girls were really like a foreign specimen to him. female idols even more. but since fans were looking forward to it, he pushed aside his pride and maintained professionalism. it went smoothly, he would think, and the pairs didn’t look that awkward. that was the most important. to make the audience believe. his partner was as much of an introvert as he was but they did manage to be comfortable enough for small talk.

kit shivers on his way to the cinema, dashing in long strides with his hands burrowed in the warmth of his pockets, where a heat pack occupied each pouch. either he is getting older and his body can no longer produce adequate enough of body heat or seoul at 3am is much colder without stuffy clubs to keep you decently hot. he goes with the latter because it sounds more pleasing than aging.

the lobby is empty, sans a few zombie-esque employees and his partner-in-crime for the night. “hey, hanli! sorry to keep you waiting. i got distracted.” by getting lost because kit actually lacks any sense of direction (literally and figuratively). “so, thor, right?” knowing hanli, although not too, too well, they have a thing in common: superheroes. their love for comic-book characters in spandex is one of the reasons they’re seeing thor in the middle of the night (and to avoid the rush and peering eyes of society to greedily live like normal people for once by watching a movie).

kit isn’t sure if she’s the type of person who pays for her own ticket-stub and food, so he awkwardly shuffles on his feet towards the kiosk, where a man not much older than he smacks away at stiff bubble gum. he asks for two tickets and readies himself to pay. it’s the least he can do for pulling a child out way past their bedtime. he doesn’t have a younger sister but sees hanli as one or a cousin because he doesn’t have many of those, either.

osaka in the rain had been dreadful, but now that the clouds had parted and the moon had come out heera could see the city’s appeal. she’d never been one to stay cooped up in her hotel, not when there was so much to do and see outside. and there was so much to see. her eyes could barely focus on a light source before she became distracted by something else. dotonbori was without a doubt the most confusing place she’d ever visited and heera loved it. the lights made the place seem otherworldly, like something out of a scifi movie.

the sounds of her footsteps hitting the wooden bridge were drowned by the various voices and music that filled the canal area. she leaned against the bridge’s railing, looking down at the water before returning to her neon surroundings. it was then that she spotted hanli. without skipping a beat heera raised her hand and waved to the other.

It was hard. Definitely hard. Have you ever felt like everybody is gossiping about you? Is staring at you? That’s how she felt. After all those rumors and scandals about Diana, she couldn’t feel good or be happy. Her ex-boyfriend almost destroyed her career and the reputation she created in Korea Music Industry. He posted and shared some private chats with Diana, and of course, media couldn’t forgive it. After some months, he appeared again, now, posting awkward photos of her. It happened years ago, although It doesn’t matter to celebrity gossip news. At this time, she was promoting Mind Your Own Business, a totally girl power song, encouraging girls to not suffer because of men, to be strong, but how funny life is, isn’t it?

There she was, on her backstage, almost ready to perform on another music show. Diana felt bad for the makeup artist who perfectly did her face, but she couldn’t hold her tears anymore. Why? Why with her? Why now? Why he did it? Maybe she was wrong? Or was he? Life was not going the way she wanted, the way she planned or the way she worked so hard for, life is a game. Loneliness became a casual friend of her, she constantly talked to herself looking at the mirror, feeling ashamed of her own image.

Sobbing a little louder than she should, Diana couldn’t hope but cry and left all her tension spread out. She hadn’t noticed any movement outside, nor heard any sound than her own crying.
