and the answer is that you can’t do it, not without harming yourself somewhere deep down, even if no one else knows what you’ve done. even if you do it out of love, even if you only do it once, after you've treated someone's soul like a currency, there's a part of you that you aren’t getting back. the only way to grow from it is to understand nobody should be allowed to do this at all, and to give up your ability to do so ever again.

Haha! Thanks XD I thought role-swap between them was super cool. Actually, one idea I didn't manage to add in was that Pride and Wrath were also role-swapped! So since King Bradley is human in this AU, Selim is also. The role swap is that this time Selim is the younger brother and King is the older one. Their parents have sadly died so Bradley tries his best to raise his younger bro but it's tough going from sibling to parent, especially when trying to balance your military career. Homonculus Mrs Bradley is EXTREMELY taken in by Selim and thinks he's adorable.
