I made candles and quit my job. Both felt so emotionally overwhelming.

So the candles were wild to make. I kept making the wrong measurements, I didn't put enough dye in the mix, I couldn't get the wicks to stay in place, and one of the glass dye vials shattered on me. Regardless I'm so fucking proud of myself and I can't wait to make more. I still need to use a blow dryer to even out the top, but they look so damn good. I think I'll have to list them later. I like doing custom candles, so I will leave some options for that. Very exciting! Think I might release them slowly in a newsletter format. I have been sitting on that idea for so long and I think it would be such a cute way to promote. I have a lot more deities and saints I want to work on and those will be coming out soon. I also really want to make figure candles so bad, so I will have to figure out exactly how to do that sooner or later. All these projects are so exciting to think about! Also, I bought dye cubes this time around so I don't have another terrible accident with the dye.

Also, I quit my job. I don't have another one lined up so I'm pretty nervous. I'm starting up my third semester at massage school though, so if I keep working, I'll have no days off. I'm barely functioning doing internship and working 6 times a week, I can't imagine working with no days off. I think I would actually die. I'm just going to be jobless for a month and a half. I'm hoping to study hard, pass my exam, and get a good job doing medical or sports massage. I feel good and a lot of people have been raving about my massages. It makes me so happy! Also gives me more time to work on my business and that can only be a good thing. I'm thankful.
