Swappin' Stories || Richard&Bette
Stifling back a yawn, Bette set down her astronomy book ad stretched out, leaning and turning to crack her neck a little. Glancing around the Great Hall, there weren't many other students left from dinner, which surprised the Hufflepuff. She'd only been reading for a few minutes, or at least, that's what she thought until she glanced at her charmed watch and realized it'd been nearly an hour since supper had ended.
'Perhaps,' She thought to herself, 'I need to set a timer or something when I start reading...'
The blonde looked around the hall, curious as to why some of the others were still here and not in their respected common rooms by this time. Sure, they could be studying or reading like she was, but Bette had always been one to dig and find out other people's business; it was a badger thing.
One person in particular caught her attention; Dick Grayson, Professor Wayne's oldest adopted son and Wally's best friend, was sitting alone at the end of Ravenclaw's table. His dark-haired head was leaned forward slightly, and his hands folded atop the mahogany.
'Curious...'
Marking her spot in her book, Bette tucked it under her arm and got up. She made her way towards the Ravenclaw seeker before taking a seat across from him, "What's the famous Grayson doing here on a friday night alone?"
