I read that Kevin would return from am alternate world and that other characters might do the same. Do you think that's how Cas will come back? Either a Cas that was in a canon relationship with a Dean that died(they would never, but I dream) or a Cas that never got involved in the Winchesters and maybe is still very much like early season 4. (That way the writers can have Cas back as fanservice but ignore the deep connection he has with Dean)
This is exactly what Iām afraid of too, because it would make a lot of sense based on what weāve heard, like that heās more like season 4 Cas when he comes back. But it would mean intentional deception on other things, like Misha saying that when Cas meets Lucifer, heās like,Ā āOh hey, I donāt like you, you just killed me.ā And that they make a deal about Jack. Both of those things make it sound like it is, indeed, OUR Cas. But maybe itās our Cas from a different parallel world that is more similar to ours? Wouldnāt that take more set up than weāve seen so far?
*sigh* I donāt know. I wouldnāt rule out the possibility that it is alt-world Cas, and I donāt like it. I also donāt like him making a deal with Lucifer. Again. (I donāt think anyone was happy about that bit of news?)
Iām just going to hope itās all done in a way that doesnāt leave us Cas fans all pulling our hair out.
