A long night of dust and feathers
Your lips were like lilies
Only if you speak, speak your self
To repay for the truth of many
How can true love be so civilized?

Flying Feathers by Jutta von Hinterm Stein on Ravelry
Gallery wrapped 3/4" thick ready for hanging without framing. While painting I saw what appeared to me to be feathers from an Indian Chief's bonnet flying in the air, thus the title.
Ok, I cave.
pendrakeon & the-hats-anon, here’s the idea I was thinking about.
A love triangle between Gonzo, Camilla, and Sam. And to call it “Flying Feathers” or something.
And it’d start with Camilla wanting Gonzo to pay more attention to her, so she’s try to enlist Sam’s help to make Gonzo jealous. (I think he’s the only other one who can understand the chickens?)
And at first he’s against it because it’s dishonest and disloyal and not righteous and everything. But she somehow talks him into it and he figures that not helping a lady in distress may be a bit just as ungentlemanly.
So they’d spend a lot of time just hanging out together wherever they think Gonzo may show up, and he likes the company. But it gets complicated when Camilla’s family gets involved, and Gonzo ends up an innocent victim so to speak.
So that’s the idea I had. I’ve got a few scenes of dialogue in my head (hurts my heart because they’re sad/emotional too).
But I like the Flying Feathers bird theme thing. And it’d most likely be for one story. I couldn’t see any of this going further than that, but I want to write it out and give it a shot.
Plus I’ve got a few funny lines from Constantine to throw in because he’s always funny. “Zongo! You bird brain, beat it!” Lol
