"What are we doing here?"
Ignoring the question asked by the taller female, instead looking at the cute flowers that was inside the shop. The floral scents wafted around them pleasantly, her finger tips touched the petals lightly and in turn she felt a velvet softness that calmed her down. Even though the two had met recently, Arisa had taken a great liking to Euaerin as a friend, the other was cute and obviously someone fun to talk to. It was only natural to take the other to her favourite place– but was it unneccessary?
“It’s a place that only two people know about.. a cute flower boutique.” Pausing, which only allowed silence to fill up the space between them and Arisa’s nervousness for she was never good with new people but she wanted to try even if it would only spring anxious feelings into her veins. With a deep breath inhaled then exhaled, she decided to continue albeit it did little to dispel her feelings. “ I figured it would make us closer..”
Even though their relationship was as new as the budding flowers around them, Erin felt strangely at peace with Arisa. It was warm and calm in the shop and other than themselves, it seemed empty there. She bit her lip nervously, walking slowly around the shop as Arisa explained to her. So this place was special in at least one way.
She was extremely flattered, touched really. She couldn’t recall the last time anyone had revealed something so significant to her. “I think it’s working... it’s beautiful here.” She meant it sincerely. She’d spent half of her life in France witnessing some of the most beautiful floral displays and discovering the quaintest shops but there was something about this place that was simply enchanting. Her stomach churned slightly though as she took it all in. In truth the happiness she was feeling slightly scared her. Arisa was incredibly sweet and even though Erin was pretty sure she could trust this new friendship, she wasn’t ready to admit it outloud. So instead of thanking Arisa for taking her here and continuing their conversation, she just smiled and nodded, appreciating what was around them.
