Nope I haven't the foggiest idea what you're talking about.
Don't worry, it's super small, really no one else would care much about it, so it makes complete sense you wouldn't know.

"Ask me about writing."
There’s nothing about you that’s writing. You’re literally fucking behaving like a backspace key.
… I'm not even sure that makes grammatical sense. And I treat grammar like a suggestion.
You made need to rethink your commitment to the whole asshole era.
Your trademark is tragic characters that nobody else understands and everyone likes to misrepresent and it's like "have you even read/watched/played the thing?"
Could probably field a football team w/ those guys, lol.
Tbf, some are more misunderstood than others—here's lookin' at you, Horobi—but I do love me them sad folks. Usually parental figures/big brothers/family oriented sorts.
I do have a little bit of a case of 'everyone but me is wrong about them.' And I talk too much. But I just have so many thoughts!
I'm sorry I was asleep! But 34 with HoroFuwa 🥺
34. Kisses that start on their fingers and run up their arm, eventually ending on their lips.
Oh, don't worry! I'm just being whiny and fishing for attention. I'm needy right now, apparently.
Meantime, I hope you're ready for some of the AU I will one day write bc I'm feeling Fae.
… Ehe.
… I hate puns, but this one does just fit that au… So perfectly.
~~~
He found Horobi on the second floor, tucked into one of the tower window alcoves to watch the snow fall, folded into himself. He looked a little like a gold and marble statue between the night outside and the black stones of the walls. He was wearing one of the most substantial outfits Fuwa had ever seen him in—a sweeping, high collared robe brocaded with tiny crystals that had bell shaped sleeves; it looked almost as black, but shimmered deep purple in the ghostly flairs of the torches, above silver buckled boots. There was nothing in his hair, and the only jewellery he wore was the armoured scorpion ring that covered his whole left middle finger and part of the ring finger that he never seemed to be without.
Fuwa couldn't resist a small scowl at the thought that the half Fae had probably been able to dress himself only because of Amatsu's prolonged absence from the court. The business had been sudden enough that the King hadn't been able to arrange bringing his 'favourite' with him—meaning that Horobi, and therefore Jin and Fuwa, had gotten to remain behind, despite the great todo the man had made about it. With the bit of extra freedom the circumstances allowed them, Vulcan had suggested making the trek up north to the territory his position had afforded him. He'd never cared much for the land or the titles before, but now it gave them a chance to put a little distance between them and the scrutiny of the capital. And, a small voice in the back of his mind had whispered—optimistically hopeful that their argument hadn't driven an insurmountable wedge between them—to show Horobi his corner of the world.
His musing was promptly interrupted when he realised the half Fae had started watching him back, soft brown eyes unreadable as they skirted over his expression—which he suspected was quite stormy. Taking a deep breath and gathering his courage, he squared his shoulders and crossed over to join Horobi at the window.
For a moment, they just looked at each other in silence—until, finally, Horobi spoke. "Jin is delighted." He said quietly, looking back out the window. "He's never seen snow before; it might be difficult to get him back inside."
Fuwa couldn't resist a small smile at that, ducking his head briefly. "… And you? You've seen it before, then?"
"Briefly, once or twice. Years ago." Something like nostalgia flickered across the half Fae's face, "I spent some time in the mountains as a child. My mother-" The expression vanished just as suddenly, his voice immediately faltering as soon as he mentioned his mother.
"You don't have to tell me." He got a small nod in return, though Horobi still didn't look at him.
They settled back into silence for a while, watching the snowflakes drift as the shy outside continued to darken. Eventually, a small clinking of metal drew Vulcan's attention, and he looked down to discover that Horobi was fidgeting anxiously with his ring, twirling one of the moving parts around with his right hand. Without thinking, he immediately reached out to take the half Fae's left hand in his, pulling it away from the right one. That did make Horobi look at him, eyes widening slightly.
"It's going to be alright." He offered quietly, though he wasn't quite sure what 'it' was and how it would become 'alright.' Thankfully, the half Fae didn't ask, merely watching him apprehensively—but he wasn't pulling his hand back, either. Hesitantly, taking a small step closer, Fuwa carefully raised that hand to his lips, pressing a light kiss to the metal of the ring as a test. From the corners of his eye, he saw Horobi stiffen slightly. Emboldened by the reaction, he moved up, placing a second kiss on the back of the half Fae's hand.
At that, Horobi's other hand shot out, palm flat against his chest, pushing him back against the wall. Despite keeping him at arm's length, however, the half Fae still did not extract his left hand from Vulcan's—and when Fuwa met his eyes again, they were more cautious, calculating, and even hurt than angry.
"Don't." He hissed sharply. "Don't start something you're not going to finish."
"Horobi-"
He was promptly silenced by a finger to his lips from the hand he was holding close to his face. "I mean it." Horobi whispered, an edge of steel entering his voice, "Don't make a promise you can't keep."
"I'm not." The half Fae raised an eyebrow at him disbelievingly—and it was such an attractive expression that Vulcan couldn't resist pressing another small kiss to the finger still against his lips.
"Isamu."
The even more reproachful expression that got just made the effect worse (or, perhaps, better). Reaffirming his hold on Horobi's left hand, he pulled it closer, placing a fourth, pointed kiss on the exposed skin of his wrist. The half Fae huffed in annoyance again, but that just spurred him to continue; reaching out, he gently hold of Horobi's elbow and pulled him closer, peppering his sleeve with light, playful kisses as he went. He paused at the half Fae's shoulder, nuzzling into the crook of his neck for a moment before pressing his lips to the corner of his jaw.
"Isamu!" Horobi hissed again, voice slightly breathless. "What did I just-" The words cut off in a small gasp when Vulcan nipped gently at his jaw in the same place. With that slightly inhuman speed, a hand was suddenly in Fuwa's hair, pulling him back while Horobi shifted just slightly in order to properly pin him against the wall. "Behave."
For the first time in a long while, there was a now familiar confidence and pride in the half Fae's voice and bearing.
It made Vulcan's heart beat faster, and the small smile break into a proper grin. "There you are." He whispered, the teasing very suddenly replaced with complete earnestness.
Horobi faltered at that, blinking in confusion, the grip on his hair easing slightly. "I…"
Fuwa raised a hand to gently cup the half Fae's cheek, running his thumb along the crown. "I want you're you," He explained with equal fervour, "Not his you." Slowly, his hand on Horobi's face drifted to trace his lips. "If you'll still have me."
The half Fae watched him through his eyelashes for a moment—then his expression split into a small, overwhelmingly attractive smirk. "… I believe I told you not to start something you weren't going to finish."
Vulcan dove forward, eagerly pressing his lips to Horobi's—and this time, the half Fae willingly pushed back, refusing to budge and keeping Fuwa trapped against the wall. They kept at it until he felt like his lungs were going to explode; and even, Horobi just switched to mouthing along his jaw gently. "You know…" The half Fae murmured right beside his ear, one hand combing through his curls, "Jin's going to be outside a while."
Fuwa's heart rate jumped again. "I… Do still have to show you the rooms."
He felt the resulting smirk against the side of his neck rather than saw it. "Perfect." With some reluctance, Horobi stepped back, though he kept his hand in Vulcan's. "I'm sure there's a suitable one somewhere."
Fuwa started to open his mouth to reply, but the half Fae didn't bother waiting, swirling around with his usual grace and pulling him down the hall. Vulcan couldn't stop the surprised sound that burst from him—but after only a few stumbles, he was keeping up with only a bit of extra exertion and a ridiculous grin on his face.
There were probably going to be complications and consequences whenever Amatsu did return—but for now… He couldn't bring himself to care one bit.
Notes: I lost it a little bit at the end, there, and for that I deeply apologise.
Sigh. One day I'll write this AU, it's still in my head after all this time, which is a good sign. I'm quite proud of it.
50 types of kisses — send me a number and a pairing
TV show, TV show, TV show that isn't 01 because that's way too predictable 😂 (Although, you know, feel free to do that too if no one else asks xD)
But I seem to remember you recommending Killjoys to me once before, so, that!
Really testing my personal knowledge here 😂
You remembered correctly! Good show, fun to watch.
favorite male character: Toss up between Johnny, D'avin, Turin, and Pree.
favorite female character: Dutch and I'm quite fond of… Oh no, what's her name. Tech girl. I feel so bad right now.
least favorite character: Uh… Aneela and Seyah (was that her name?), more on a personal level than a narrative one, if that makes sense.
prettiest character: THEY'RE ALL PRETTY
funniest character: Johnny and Pree. The sass is string in these ones and they're tired of everyone else's shit.
favorite season: All of them are pretty equally solid imo.
favorite episode: Now, now. My memory ain't good enough for that.
favorite romantic ship: Eh… Nothing really. Dutch and D'av are okay, but I could take or leave it, there's nothing I'm particularly attached to.
favorite family ship: Dutch, Johnny, and D'av. And Lucy, can't forget Lucy.
favorite friend ship: Johnny and Dutch.
worst ship: Consequently, also Johnny and Dutch. Let them just be friends, damnit.
And here’s Horobi!
@fluttering-by
Almost everyone, but there’s enough wrong people that it counts. ^^ And he doesn’t necessarily work ‘better,’ just that there are dynamics of his I would die for.
Horobi xD And DMC Vergil actually because why not?
Yay!
I happen to know Vergil isn't everyone's cup of tea, so I'll do him here and and make a separate post for Horobi.
I circled both 'why do they look like that' and 'they look so cool’ bc I love his outfit until I remember he has no sleeves under there. And then I hate it.
