To put it simply, casting is basically the leveled-up version of 3D resin printing. Usually, for custom OCs or when we only have a few orders, we’ll just use high-precision 3D resin printing to make the blank resin base, sand it down till it’s super smooth, and paint it.🎨

But for small batches, we go all out and do mold casting! Basically, we take that 3D-printed base, sand and polish it until it’s absolutely flawless, and use it as a "master" to pour a mold. Every figure after that is cast straight from that mold.🫶💕

Why do this? Because the cast figures are way sturdier, feel incredibly smooth, and basically have that high-end official figure vibe! 💖
