👀 what was the most recent vivid dream that you had?
I had a couple of surprising vivid dreams last night. or at least bits of them were vivid. in the first one aliens were invading. I was trying to say I could be useful because I had psychic powers, but they were afraid my powers made me dangerous. I exhibited the powers by making trails in the ground, and then I shot myself with a gun but stopped the bullet in mid air and broke it up into pieces. they took me off somewhere saying they had high hopes for me, but then suddenly I was in some weird chamber tied to the wall, and they were about to shoot a laser at me or something. it kind of just froze there like the end of a TV show. there were even title credits.
in the second dream I was entering some kind of big office building. I had something important to do but I was getting lost trying to find my way around. I was feeling really frustrated, and someone at a receptionist desk kept bugging me telling me I had a call. finally I deferred and put the call on speaker, and it was this woman who was apparently my stock broker. I got upset because she called me by my dead name, and I feigned ignorance to the other people around. when I asked her what this was about, she said the stock market got hacked, and all my shares in Coca Cola were gone. if anyone tried to look at Coca Cola’s stock price, it would just return stupid meme videos. I didn’t really care much because I didn’t even remember having stock in Coca Cola and I didn’t think it could be that much, but as things progressed I found myself getting more and more worried over it. everything else is a blur.
🐾 what are you scared of most? how will you overcome it?
I am scared of someone I’ve never met approaching me at work, and asking “hey, are you Midori from Tumblr? the cat?”
but seriously, I am probably most scared of failing things and being a disappointment to people. I always want to try my best to help people but I am never satisfied with myself. I don’t know how to overcome it.
