Just thinking about sitting outside on your porch with Matt, a blanket wrapped around your shoulders as you watch him hand out Halloween candy to each kid that comes running up with their bags and buckets with so much excitement.
No warnings at all, just pure a fluffy snippet/blurb
‿෴Ѽ෴‿
“Trick or treat!”
“Whoaa! Nice costume buddy!” Matt smiles, reaching out to drop the candy into his bag, “Here you go! Happy Halloween!”
You smirk, smiling at the little girl that comes running up to you, “Trick or treat!”
“Look at you! You look beautiful!” You smile, letting her pick out a piece of candy, “Happy Halloween!”
You glance over at Matt who is sitting there looking at you. You smile shyly, “What?” He shakes his head, “Nothing, just.. thinking..”
He turns his attention to the group of children running up giggling, “And who do we have here? A firefighter, a power ranger and someone who has the same costume as me!”
“You’re a cowboy, too!?” The child asks, “Where is your hat?”
“My hat? Oh, yep. I forgot I took it off.” Matt looks around, grabbing his cowboy had from beside him, “Here we go, how about that?”
The child smiles and nods, “I like it!”
Matt smiles big and drops some candy into their bags and buckets, “Have fun tonight, kids!”
“So..” you rest your chin in your hand, your elbow on the armrest of the chair, “You were.. thinking.. about?”
He sighs, “what it’ll feel like to take our own kids trick or treating someday. what they’ll want to be.” He shrugs, shaking his head with a slight laugh, “It’s dumb.”
“It’s not stupid, Matt.” You stand up, moving your chair closer to him, “In fact, I think it’s really sweet that you’re thinking about a future with me.”
He looks over at you, giving you a smile and he sighs, his tone going into country mode, “Aw shucks, darlin’ why don’you, bring those lips over here t’mine.”

He wakes to find her slouched, curled into his chest, palms barely holding onto one of his bulky tomes. Her hair in disarray, it surprises him to find that she very much drools in her sleep. His knuckles brush against her cheek as he reaches to tuck a rogue hair strand behind an ear. It grips him by the throat in an instant, a certain tightness nestling itself deep within his chest. Because it feels familiar.
Because it feels like home.
And for Solas, that's more than enough to hold onto this feeling, to treasure and cherish it with all that he is.
More flustered villains and flirty heroes <3 Guys this ones.... good? like, even im kinda proud of how this one turned out, its really cute <3
First part

Third part
Forth part
It was the night after their date, and the villain yet again fumbled the tools they held at the sudden voice in their lab.
The hero giggled, genuine and amused, "I don't know how that keeps getting you," they mused as they casually strolled closer.
"Oh, I don't know, it's quiet, and I'm not expecting anyone. What else would you-...: the villain began sarcastically before trailing off as the hero came closer, feeling a slight blush rise on their cheeks. They instinctively took a small shuffling step back.
The hero pouted, "aw, come on, stop running away! I just want a kiss!" They whined in a purposefully childish voice, extending their arms out, opening them as if waiting for a hug.
The villain sputtered, face instantly a bright red, and yet for some reason, their feet stopped dead in their tracks. They'd swear it was only in shock and not obedience. The hero had only just got here! That was the second sentence out of their mouth!!! They were not at all prepared or ready for such a thing to be so casually said!
In the back of their mind, the villain suspected that might have been the exact point.
The hero laughed, delighted and amused, tipping their head back for a moment before capitalizing on the villain's sudden idleness, reaching up and locking their hands behind the villain's neck, holding them in place, "really? That's all it takes, and you suddenly stop running?"
"I- well-" the villain sputtered but was cut off by the hero bringing their lips together, arms curling around the back of the villains head to pull them closer, resting their elbows on the other's shoulders. The villain made some small embarrassing squeak noise as their hands came up to rest on the hero's chest on instinct, though whether to push them away or pull them closer, the villain wasn't sure. They instantly melted into it regardless. Even when they parted, the arms behind their head kept them only inches apart.
"See? See what kind of good things happen when you stop running away?" The hero teased quietly, tilting their head as they examined the villain's flustered face fondly.
"N-noted," the villain somehow managed to choke out, looking down, hands reaching up to unlink the hero's behind their head so they could take a small step back and breath their own air again. Their head was spinning with feelings that made it impossible to think straight when they were standing so close. Though they compromised, allowing the hero to continue holding their hands. They didn't even notice the smile growing on their features.
Yeah, "allowing", that was the word that totally matched the giddy school girl inside of them at the moment.
"Why- I mean- what-...is there... why-"
The hero laughed softly as their thumb traced a scar on the back of one of the villain's hands lazily, "it's amazing how one kiss is all it takes to break that beautiful mind of yours completely," they mused, tone a mix of fond and teasing.
"Shut up," the villain muttered, pulling their hands out of the hero's grasp in embarrassment, only for the hero to catch one of them before they could fully retreat.
"Hey- no- you know I mean it lovingly. It's one of the many endearing things about you," they explained, bringing the villain's hand up to kiss their knuckles gently.
The villain somehow blushed more but faltered, all irritation scattered somewhere as they relaxed, knowing the hero meant well. They were too used to being defensive 24/7.
"Yeah... I know," they conceded quietly, feeling that stupid smile crawling back onto their face at the feeling of the hero trying to intertwine their fingers but getting caught on the small circuit the villain was still holding.
The villain pulled their hand back shyly, setting the circuit down on the table next to them. Their gaze wandered over the table, past the button that would conceal its contents, though they didn't press it despite the familiar flicker of panic at the realization the hero could still see their invention. When their gaze wandered back, the hero's eyes were all but gleaming at them, a slight blush on their cheeks. Being looked at like that was not helping the villain's situation.
"What-?"
"You didn't cover it up," the hero replied, a hint of disbelief hidden in their almost flattered tone.
The villain blushed, tucking their hands into their lab coat pockets, unsure what to do with them now (and way too shy to reach out for the hero's hands themselves) as their gaze fell to the floor, and they shrugged, "You've been in here too long for it to make much of a difference anyway," they lied.
The hero gave an amused smirk and tilted their head, "ouch, and here I thought I may have made some progress," they pouted.
"Yeah, well- I wouldn't say...it's..." they trailed off as they saw the hero was looking at them with that stupid look again. Like they were the most amazing thing in the universe and somehow equally like the hero wanted to swallow them whole. Like no matter what was going on around them, the villain would always be the most interesting thing in the room.
The hero tilted their head the other way, some silent prompt to continue.
"You've got to stop looking at me like that,"
The hero grinned, maddeningly amused looking, clasping their hands behind their back as they took a step forward. The villain suddenly realized the pair had turned, so they were in between the counter and the hero.
"Like what?" They hummed.
"Like you are right now!" The villain squeaked, stepping back against the counter, which must have been exactly what the hero wanted based on the way their eyes lit up with mischief. The hero immediately leaned forward, resting a hand against the countertop on either side of the villain, effectively trapping them there. The villain could feel the heat crawling up their neck as their breath caught in their throat. They felt like they couldn't breathe properly, having the hero this close.
"I'll think about it," the hero mused, eyes wandering over the villains face, expression so sickeningly fond it made the others stomach twist, "You're really difficult to take my eyes off of, though,"
Though they knew the hero would let them go the second they asked, the villain found they sort of relied on the hero cornering them. It was like the action gave them an excuse to be so close, the faux feeling of the choice being out of their hands, so they just had to surrender themselves to the hero. They didn't have to come up with excuses in their head that made their fluttering heart feel less guilty for fluttering.
That didn't make it any less flustering of a situation, though.
Especially when their senses were filled with the intoxicatingly sweet and almost sugary smell of the hero's shampoo, like the dizzying nuisance in front of them ate icing for breakfast, which honestly wouldn't surprise the villain, if the taste of the other's lips were anything to go by.
They blushed, realizing they knew what the hero's lips tasted like, and god, they were in so much trouble here.
"Have I ever told you how cute you are when you're deep in thought?"
The villain blinked as they snapped back to reality. Face lighting up. They glanced at the hero quickly before their gaze fell to the floor.
"Is there a reason you're so, um... excitable... tonight?" The villain asked cautiously.
"Vanish has been officially locked up for good," the hero smiled, pulling their hands back from the counter to stand up straight, and the villain found they almost missed the position."Not that the special cell is even necessary any more thanks to whatever you did to his powers,"
"Uh-huh..." the villain nodded, raising an eyebrow, "And....?"
The hero huffed, some form of a light laugh, "How do you even know there's more?"
"You're pretty easy to read,"
The hero raised an eyebrow, knowingly, a smirk settling on their face, "Oh? That's rich coming from you, considering you couldn't tell I actually liked you until I kissed you,"
"Shut up!" The villain squeaked, blushing, though their words held no real anger, "That's different!"
"Oh really? How so?" The hero purred, leaning forward to resume their position of trapping the villain against the counter.
"You're avoiding the question!" was the squeaked reply.
"And you mine," the hero argued, then smiled, "Tell you what, I'll answer your question if you answer mine?"
"Fine," the villain huffed, crossing their arms.
"Annnddddddd," the hero continued, "you answer my question annnddd I get a kiss," they smirked, leaning slightly closer.
The villain lit up a bright red, sputtering, "what?- but- I mean- wouldn't you just- you know... anyway? Unless I asked you not to, wouldn't you just do that, if you, y'know, wanted one?"
"Probably," the hero agreed, "but I always kiss you," one of their hands reached up, gently catching the villain's chin to tilt their head up slightly," maybe I wanna see you kiss me," their voice was dangerously close to a purr again, and the villains face felt like it was on fire.
"Okay, okay, what are you so hesitant to tell me?" The villain choked, desperate to change to the subject after shaking their head out of the hero's hold. It wasn't that they wouldn't want to kiss the hero standing in front of them; in fact, they very much enjoyed the activity, but they weren't sure they'd have the guts to initiate it first.
"Hey! I'm not!- It isn't-" the hero argued as they stood back up, crossing their arms with a huff. "I'm sure you know that every time a villain is officially caught, the hero agency makes an announcement on the news, praising the hero slash heroes responsible for catching them?"
"Uh-huh...?" The villain nodded, unsure where this was going, but sure they weren't liking it.
"And so, obviously, my boss wants me to go up and give the speech,"
"And you don't want to because...?"
"Because I wasn't the one to catch him."
The villain froze.
"Certainly, at least not alone. We couldn't have done it without you and, although reluctantly, my boss gave me permission to mention you, but obviously I'd never want to do that without your permission, but-"
"Slow down," the villain interrupted, holding their hands up, "you want to give me credit? On public television? Why would you just ruin your image like that? Actually, scratch that, back up-" the villain waved their hands as if batting away the other words in the air, "What possible benefit could come from crediting me in the first place?"
The hero tilted their head, a soft, thoughtful expression on their face, which wasn't the look the villain would have expected. They looked like they were piecing a puzzle together.
They reached forward, gently catching one of the villain's hands in theirs, "Did... the thought ever occur to you..." the hero began, gently spinning a high-tech ring that was on the villain's finger idly before continuing, "That I'm not ashamed of you?"
The villain froze, blushing brightly. It felt like the air had suddenly been knocked out of them. Their heart skipped a beat.
Because no. They had not considered that. A preposterous idea, really.
The hero smirked like the maddening creature knew exactly what effect they had on the villain. As if they were not only aware, but luxuriated in it, revelling in each and every response they could draw out; like coaxing out a wild animal of reactions.
The criminal in question was still frozen, staring star-struck at the hero in front of them, like a snake to a snake charmer. They'd never felt so helpless in a situation they had no real disadvantage in. Somehow, regardless of how often they were around them, the hero still managed to be completely dizzying.
The hero giggled, reaching forward with the hand that had been atop villains to tuck a strand of hair behind the others ear, causing them to shiver slightly, "You look like you've just seen a ghost," the hero laughed, smiling fondly, "Is this really that surprising?"
The villain swallowed, "I would have, uh, assumed public image was of high importance to the hero agency,"
"Perhaps," the hero nodded, "but we're not talking about the hero agency here," they took an abrupt step forward, raising the villain's hand to rest against their chest, above their heart.
The villain's eyes widened, because they could feel it racing, and that seemed like an admission in and of itself.
Or perhaps closer to proof of admission than the admission itself.
"We're talking about me, and I, for one, think you're wonderful,"
"But the public-"
"Doesn't get a say in my personal relationships," the hero stated firmly, "not that I plan on making this aspect public," they gestured between the two of them as the villain dropped their hand, "I only plan on giving credit where credit is due in relation to capturing vanish. You're the reason he's currently locked away. Whether they like that or not is irrelevant, and doesn't change that fact either,"
"You never answered my question, though," the villain replied, "Just because mentioning me won't have a negative result, I still fail to see the positive,"
"Other than just crediting the right person?" The hero asked innocently. The villain simply raised an unimpressed eyebrow, caused the hero to drop their head with a huff, "I really am no match for you, am I?" They muttered, examining the villain's other hand, which they'd sense grabbed in theirs. They took a deep breath, "I want your association with at least the hero agency known in case any of the smaller heroes in the city get any ideas, they'll know you're an ally and won't give you any trouble,"
*Protection*. That's what it had been about.
The villain's heart gave a stupid achingly lovesick flutter, breath and words catching in their throat. The hero glanced at them, a mix of guilty and sheepish, as they dropped the villain's hands, mistaking the villain's silence for disapproval.
A soft, small smile grew on the villains face, "I think..." they started, before they used every bit of bravery they could muster to reach forward and retake one of the hero's hands in their's, which was rewarded with said hero looking up at the other in surprise. "I would rather be publically associated with you than the agency,"
The hero gave a sharp inhale of breath, looking even more surprised. The villain could swear they saw stars in their eyes, which only made the villain smile more.
"What would I...?"
"Call me a friend," the villain offered, "just to test the waters... and we'll go from there,"
"You know... you could always come..." the hero suggested, a sly look on their face.
The villain narrowed their eyes, "Don't push it," they warned, though the playful nature of the comment was apparent in their tone, causing the hero to snort a quiet laugh. "Besides, I'll be there..." the villain started, causing the hero to look up at them in shock, only for the villain to smirk in a way the hero had learned always meant trouble, "Just in my own way,"
"I'm not even gonna ask," the hero said, shaking their head with a fond smile, "I'll let you surprise me," Suddenly the hero's expression shifted to mischievous, "What I am going to ask, however, is why you didn't realize I liked you until I kissed you,"
The villain's face lit up, having forgotten about their earlier deal while swept up in the moment. Whether they liked it or not, they'd agreed to answer...
The villain pulled both of their hands back, rubbing one of their arms subconsciously as they looked away at the floor.
"I didn't realize you liked me because... I didn't think someone like you could ever actually like someone like me. I thought it was some sort of mind game just to mess with my head, confuse me, so I let my guard down," they dared a glance at the hero, whose face was a mix of softly attentive and contemplative before continuing. "Honestly," the villain huffed a dry laugh, "I think I put the idea of it being for your own sadistic pleasure above you actually liking me,"
"I feel like I should be offended by that,"
The villain huffed again, smirking ever so slightly, leaning back against the edge of the counter behind them "well, if you aren't offended yet, you probably will be once I tell you the thought had still been lingering in my mind until about 5 minutes ago,"
But that, *protection*, that was hard to argue with. The way the heros heart had been racing, the way their eyes lit up. That was real emotion, and there was no denying that, at least anymore. Something in their dynamic had shifted.
The hero took a small step forward, shaking their head, "Any offence is overshadowed by the joy of knowing I've since managed to convince you otherwise," they explained with a smile. Suddenly, the comm in their pocket buzzed. The hero pulled it out, only to sigh in annoyance at whatever they saw.
"Looks like I'm being bat signalled to do more paperwork," they explained with another sigh, rolling their eyes, "I'm sorry,"
"It's okay, I understand," the villain replied before they summoned every ounce of bravery they had, "So I don't forget, though.."
They stood up off where they leaned against the counter, almost flush against the hero now, pushing up on their toes to give the quickest, lightest kiss to the hero's lips before retreating, blushing brightly, "The other half of my end of the deal, from before..."
For a moment, it felt like their roles had switched, with the hero now staring at the villain, starstruck for a moment.
That was until suddenly the villain felt like they couldn't tell up from down. The next thing they knew, they'd been lifted to sit on the edge of the counter, hands on either of the hero's shoulders, who was flush against them and the edge of the counter below, hands still on the villain's hips and- Oh, they were kissing again. Well, there wouldn't be any complaints about the change from the villain's end.
This kiss felt different, though; not quite aggressive, but claiming all the same, with a hint of desperation. The villain felt their heart fluttering like a butterfly in a thunderstorm.
"Sorry, couldn't help myself," the hero mused once they broke.
The villain just laughed, looking down at the hero from their elevated position, "Was that your way of trying to show me up? Tell me to take notes? What, was mine not good enough?" they joked.
"Yours was perfect," the hero's voice was getting dangerously close to a purr again, before it shifted back to teasing, "It should be illegal to just do something that adorable. *That* was revenge for thinking you could simply do something like that and get away with it. I'm a hero, remember? I can't just let such crimes go unpunished,"
Despite how furiously they were now blushing, the villain still laughed again, before they simply looked down at the hero with a slight smirk, tilting their head, "Apparently, I need to get back in the crime game then,"
The hero gave them that maddening, knowing and mischievous grin before craning up on their toes for another kiss, only for the villain to pull back slightly.
"Don't you have to get going?" the villain asked.
The hero's face, which had been disappointed, returned to their smirk, "I got caught in traffic,"
"Now I've got you lying! I'm such a bad influence," the villain joked.
"Another crime I can't just let you get away with," the hero replied, leaning up once more.
Okay what if, after Aidan admits to MC that he has feels for them, they just grab him and kiss him before telling him that they had been waiting to hear those words for too long?
The moment your lips separate and you open your eyes to stare into his beautiful multi colored eyes, you couldn't help the smile that blossoms across your face. Your heart singing with joy at finally being in his embrace.
Wrapping your arms around his shoulder you pull him closer to you. Feeling his hands grasp your waist gently. Holding you firmly against him.
"I have waited a long time to hear those words leave your lips. To the point that I thought I would never hear them," you whisper, your words coming out soft against the silence that surrounded you.
A soft chuckle escapes his lips and causes your smile to widen even more. His words only making it grow more so.
"I'm sorry that I've made you wait so long darling, and to think I told you I hated tardiness," he says, his words filled with mirth and his eyes twinkling with joy. "I will try to never keep you waiting again. For as long as you will have me I will always be there for you, and nothing will ever keep me from you."
Bringing your lips back together you couldn't help but let your tears of joy fall. Wetting both yours and his cheeks and causing Aidan to pull back. You could see the concern on his face as he cradles your face.
"Are you okay, my love?"
A soft laugh bubbles from your throat. Your smile returning ten fold as you respond. "I have never been better."
And seeing his smile in response you couldn't help but nuzzle further into his embrace.
Ok so what if y/n just got her period and has been in a bad mood all day cause Sam's not home or something like that and he gets home and they cuddle and watch a movie or something. I don't but love you 💜🩷

You rolled over, reaching out for Sam, but you don’t feel him laying next to you.
You lift your head, letting out a sigh as you remembered today was the day he wasn’t going to be home until later on tonight.
You sat up, freezing as you felt that irritating feeling creep through your body. You made your way to the bathroom and lo and behold, it was day one of shark week.
“That’s just fucking great.” You mumbled to yourself, “Fucking..” you reach forward, grabbing a pad, (or a tampon, whatever suits you best!), “Great.”
You stand up, moving to wash your hands before looking at yourself in the mirror. You brush your finger over a new blemish and let out a whiney groan, “whyyy.”
You make your way back to bed, climbing under the covers and reaching to grab your phone. You look at the text from Sam, Have a good day, babe. I’ll see you later, I love you!
You smile slightly, typing back, Good morning. I hope you have a good day. I love you!
You shifted around and that’s when the cramps kicked in. You let out a groan as your legs slide up, curling into a ball as you squeeze your eyes shut, “God, I haaate being a girl.”
After spending the last hour or so scrolling through TikTok and other apps, you found yourself in the kitchen, looking through the cupboards for something to eat.
Nothing sounded good. Nothing looked good.
You grabbed your phone, sitting at the island as you looked for something to have delivered. After picking a few things, you placed your order and made your way into the living room.
Sam texts you, Did you eat breakfast?
You type back, I have stuff being delivered here soon. I woke up to my period and nothing here looked good, so yes, I’ll eat in a little bit.
You set your phone down, scrolling through options of stuff to watch on the tv.
You settled for a movie you’ve seen a few times, mainly because you know you’ll be on your phone anyway.
You couldn’t get comfortable, you kept moving around trying to find the right spot but couldn’t - and it was pissing you off.
“God.. dammit.” You threw the pillow, huffing as you rested your hand on your forehead.
You wanted Sam, and the fact that he couldn’t come home right now was pissing you off even more.
Speaking of, your phone rings and you smile as you see Sam’s face on the screen, “Hey.”
“Hey.” Sam’s voice rings on the other end, “How are you feeling? Sorry I just got a change to check my phone again.”
“Miserable.” You pull your phone away, seeing the notification that your food has been delivered, “But my food is here, so that’s a plus.”
“What did you get good?”
You tell him what you ordered as you walk over to the door to retrieve it, “But yeah, how’s your day going?”
“It’s.. going, I guess.” He laughs slightly, “We just got done with the shoot for the new merch, next we’re heading to meet with the owner of that school.”
“Sounds fun.” You laugh slightly as you put him on speaker so you can eat, “I hope it goes good. That would be really cool if you could buy it.”
“That’s what we’re hoping for.” Sam says, and you can hear Colby in the background, “Hi y/n.”
“Hi, Colby.”
“Alright, babe. We gotta get going. I’ll text you, okay?” Sam states and you nod to yourself, “I’ll be here.” You laugh slightly, “I love you.”
“I love you, get some rest okay. I’ll be home as soon as I can.”
“Okay.”
Sam hangs up and you lean back on the couch, pouting as you know he won’t be home for another few hours.
After eating, you lay back down on the couch and you end up falling asleep while watching tv, only to be woken up a little bit later by the door opening.
You sit up, rubbing your eyes and you smile as you see Sam, “Hey. What are you doing home?”
He walks over to you, sitting down next to you, “We got out early.”
You smile and tilt your head, “You rescheduled.. didn’t you?”
He nods, “Yeah, yeah. I just couldn’t have you here alone being miserable, but..” he leans back and pulls you into him, “The owner of the school had something come up, so it worked out.”
He wraps his arms around you and kisses your head, “You feel any better?”
You nod, letting out a content sigh, “Oh yeah. Most of my mood was you not being here.”
He chuckles and rubs your back, “Yeah, I thought so.” He presses a kiss to your forehead, “Do you need anything?”
“Nothing but cuddles please.”
“That I can do.” He lays down, pulling you with him and you lay on his body. He pulls a blanket down from the back of the couch and does his best to cover you both up with it.
“Haven’t you watched this movie like a million times?” Sam laughs and you laugh with him, “Maybe, but it was more for background noise.”
“I see, do you want to watch something else, something new?” He reaches forward and grabs the remote and you shrug, “We can, but you can pick.”
“Okay.”
His fingers gently scratch up and down your back as he clicks through, stopping when he finds something he likes, “How’s this?”
“Works for me.” You smile and cuddle up into him more as he sets the remote down, “I’m glad you came home early.”
“Yeah.” He holds you tighter, “Me too.”

You move your eyes from your phone, to playfully glare at your boyfriend who is sitting on the opposite end of the couch. “Babe.” You say, holding back laughter.
“What?” Sam asks looking up at you, knowing damn well what you’re talking about, “Is everything okay?”
You squint your eyes, “I know what you’re doing.” He squints his eyes back, “What is it that I am doing, exactly?” You turn your phone around, showing him the cute baby video that he sent you on TikTok.
“Another one?”
He pouts, “Isn’t she so cute.” He sits up, swinging his legs off the couch, “Think about it, baby.” He gets up, moving over to sit by you, “A bunch of baby toys scattered all over the floor. A cute little baby laughing and giggling at us.”
You chew on your lip. Sam has been on this we need a baby kick for the last few weeks. Every time you go to target he accidentally walks you through the baby stuff, stopping to point out a cute, tiny onesie.
“But what about all the bad times? The every two hour wake up calls. The sleepless nights, the non stop crying, and the poop. Babies poop, constantly, Sam.”
He shrugs, laying a hand on your knee, “Baby.” He scoffs, a smile creeping onto his face, “I think we could do it.”
He leans in, “I know we can do it.”
You look up at him, staring up at him as your mind races through the images of him being a dad. Holding a little tiny baby in his arms, shushing and gently bouncing them to sleep.
Picturing Sam as a dad, was hot.
“I read that if you do missionary, you’ll have better luck at conceiving a girl.” You smirk slowly, “Not sure how true that is, but..” He raises his brows, “So you have been thinking about this, too?”
You shrug, “On and off, yes.”
He slides a hand to your stomach and moves closer to kiss your cheek, “You.. are going to look so fucking sexy pregnant.” He moves to kiss your neck, “Picturing you with a baby bump, fuck. Makes me love you ten times more.”
With that you spring up, bending down to grab his hand and off to the bedroom you go to start the newest chapter of your life.

"Is everything okay?" The hero asked as the villain shuffled through the front door. Not that the villain usually pranced through it, but the hero could immediately tell something was wrong. Their movements were slow, lazy and sluggish. The hero scanned them for injuries, but they couldnt immediately see anything.
"Yes and no?" The villain huffed, kicking off their shoes and shrugged off their coat.
"What do you mean? What's-"
The hero was cut off by the villain abruptly walking up and slumping forward into them, thunking their head into their chest and snuggling closer.
The heros arms instinctually wrapped around the other, holding them close. They heard the villain let out a content sigh as they relaxed, sinking into them more and swaying slightly on their feet. The hero couldn't help but smile. Despite all the progress theyd made, the villain still wasnt usually as forward with physical affection, so they must have had a truely long day to be this out of it. They felt a slight grin grow on their face as they imagined how flustered the villain would probably be tomorrow morning once they remembered their actions tonight.
"Theres nothing exactly *wrong*.... I just... ugh,"
The hero chuckled quietly yet fondly above them, resting their chin on top of the others head gently, "eloquently said,"
"Shut up," the villain replied, though the smile in the tone was obvious.
"Do you want to get something to eat?"
The villain shook their head where it was tucked against the heros chest, "not hungry," they mumbled quietly.
"Okay, then what DO you want to do?"
"Stay here..." the villain muttered, apparently already loosing the battle of staying conscious.
The hero chuckled again before in one swift movement they scooped the villain up into their arms.
The villain let out a surprised squeak, arms wrapping around the heros neck instinctively.
"What-"
"Shhh," the hero hushed, slipping into their bedroom before playfully tossing the villain onto the bed.
There was another surprised squeak as they collided with the blankets.
"What-" that villain tried again, but was cut off by the hero once more.
"Stay put," the hero instructed, before slipping into the closet. They returned a few moments later with a pair of pyjamas, which they tossed to the villain still on the bed.
"Put these on, I'll be back in a few minutes okay?" The hero asked.
"Uh... okay...? The villain replied in confusion, watching the hero leave.
The villain sluggishly slipped on the pajamas, only realizing once they were on that the hero had given them a set of their own, not the villains. The hero's clothes were always slightly too big for the villain, and despite how much theyd complain about it to the hero, they actually loved wearing the heros things. They were always so comfortable, and the faint scent of the others shampoo always made them feel safer. They had a sneaking suspicion the hero knew that.
A few minutes later the hero came back in to find the villain already snuggled down in bed.
"Hey don't fall asleep yet, I want you to try and eat a slice of toast first," the hero explained softly, sliding down onto the bed next to the villain, who's sleepy eyes blinked open to look up at them.
"Hmm?"
"Eat, then you can go to sleep,"
The villain grumbled as they pushed themselves up to a sitting position, before basically flopping over to lean against the hero, who laughed fondly and wrapped an arm around them.
"You're so cuddly when your sleepy,"
"Like you're complaining," the villain argued as they started eating, munching away quietly.
"I never said that, but it's funny that you didn't even disagree with me there,"
Annnnd there was the blush.
The villain glared. It was a look that may have been worrying or even scary to the hero before all of this, but now? Now the hero knew the ice in that stare was manufactured, the emptiness in their eyes nothing more then good acting.
"You're adorable" the hero mused fondly, a sly smile on their face, knowing the villains mouth was both full but that they were also too tired to really argue back.
The villain huffed, blushing more as they rolled their eyes, crossing their arms and turning so they could flop back against the hero who simply chuckled at their antics.
The villain was much more open about physical affection now, and while theyd long sense given up pretending to hate it, they still put forth this almost... indifference towards it. Acting like they didnt really care.
They rarely asked for affection out right, instead using many clever and cheaty workarounds. A good example was when the villain asked "can we go to bed early?" Which was usually code for "I wanna cuddle," or how "it's kinda chilly in here, dont you think?" was usually their way of asking for a hug. They would always ask while giving the hero this pointed *look* that always gave them away, leaving the hero little choice but to smile and roll their eyes fondly, an action that was always rewarded with a blush before giving in to whatever the villain was asking for.
Sometimes the villain found ways to ask without even using words, like whenever they'd not-so-subtly sit right next to the hero on the couch, glancing at them out of the corner of their eye until the hero just caved, wrapping an arm around them to pull them closer.
Though all things considered, the hero had to admit their favorite was whenever the villain wanted the hero to play with their hair. Their way of asking was just shyly placing the hero's hand on their head while blushing and looking away, which had to be one if the cutest things the hero had ever heard or seen.
So they may have created a bit of an affection monster, not that the hero would ever complain. Plus, it made sense, the villain had so many years spent touch starved they had to make up for.
But it was the villain's continued shyness around the topic that made moments like this so special. The hero found they adored whenever the villain was in this sleepy mood and that "big bad" filter finially fell away. The flustered mornings that followed were always a bonus as well.
Finaly the villain finished their toast, setting the now empty plate aside. They turned back to see the hero open their arms, an invitation the villain happily accepted with a small sheepish smile.
They drew themselves in closer to the hero, shivering ever so slightly.
"Are you cold?" The hero asked, "I can go get another blanket,"
The hero tried to move to get up, the operative word being *tried*, as soon as they shifted the villains grip on them tighted, pulling them back and holding them in place.
"S'fine, you're warm m'nough," the villain muttered, and the hero couldnt help the small chuckle or grin that broke out onto their face. They were becoming increasingly amused by the thought of just how flustered the villains actions tonight would have them in the morning.
There was a few minutes of content silence, when the hero felt something gently grab their hand. They looked down, and dispite already knowing what was going to happen they let the villain go through the motion of placing the hand on their head anyway. The villain never spared the hero a glance, pointedly keeping their face turned down toward where they were now fidgeting with their own hands. The hero could tell they had tensed up slightly, as if waiting for an answer to the unspoken request.
The hero simply chuckled, carding their fingers through the villains hair.
"Shut up," the villain muttered, which only caused the hero to laugh more.
"I never said anything!"
"Yeah but you're thinking it,"
"What? That you're adorable?"
"I said shut up!"
The hero just laughed again, scratching at the others scalp gently.
They glanced over, noticing the laptop that was still open on their desk. There was still paperwork they really should be getting done tonight but...
Looking down again, the hero noticed the villain was practically already asleep, breathing slowed and body relaxed.
It would be a sin to disturb them now...
The hero sighed, accepting their fate as a human pillow for the night. They slid down a bit further into the bed, shifting the barely conscious villain in the arms slightly before pulling the blankets up over them a bit more.
The villain muttered some form of disapproval at being moved before snuggling in closer to the heros chest contently, a small smile appearing on their face when they felt a hand begin carding through their hair gently.
Guys this is so soft. I may have beaten kind touch in softness without crossing into that cliche over the top cringey cute. How do I do this
Part one
Part two
The villain was having a hard time believing just what was happening right now.
He was laid back on the couch of a motel room, lights off late at night, some crappy movie playing on the small low res tv in front of him that he was barely paying attention to.
It would have been a fairly normal thing if not for the hero contently snuggled into his chest, sound asleep on top of him.
If this was a dream, he did *not* want to wake up any time soon.
But it wasn't a dream, this was real life. Feelings bubbled up in his chest as he looked down, movie long forgotten about. The hero was sound asleep, relaxed and snuggled in just about as close as he could get to the villain, having made some comment about it being punishment for avoiding him for 4 days.
If that was the case the villain might just have to do it more often.
It had been hours, and he could still feel the slight tingle of where the hero's lips had kissed his cheek.
He caught himself smiling again.
Gods. This creature in his lap had him so wrapped around his finger it was stupid.
The villain couldn't bring himself to mind.
"You're staring again,"
The sudden voice snapped the villain back to reality only to see two eyes sleepily peering up at him.
How long had the hero been awake?
The villain's face immediately took on a red hue.
How long had he been staring?
"I wasn't! I- wait- again?" The villain sputtered.
The hero on top of him giggled, and the sound immediately made the villain feel warm and floaty inside. The hero's face when they laughed while half asleep had to be one of the cutest sights the villain had ever seen. He felt his heart rate pick up again when he remembered what said hero had said earlier.
This hero could play him like a violin without even trying. He had it so bad it was ridiculous. He would have even called it pathetic if not for the fact he wouldn't change it for the world. Not if it meant losing this.
"Yes, again," the hero replied, before yawning mid-sentence and snuggling in even closer, "you were doing it for most of the movie too,"
The villain blushed even more. He was fairly certain the hero would be able to feel how flustered he was even from where he was snuggled against his chest.
"Sorry..." the villain muttered, shifting slightly.
"I don't mind" the hero replied, "I'm just wondering what you're looking at,"
"Nothing. I'm just... staring off into space,"
"For a villain, you're a terrible liar," the hero replied, idly drawing circles on the villain's chest with his finger, which caused goosebumps to rise. The villain could hear the amusement in his voice.
The villain wasn't sure what to say.
"I think it's pretty cute," the hero continued, yawning yet again, "That your staring and don't even realize it,"
The villain shrugged, pathetically tongue-tied and unable to come up with an excuse.
The hero shifted, getting more comfortable before snuggling even closer, "you're so warm,"
The hero glanced up when he still didn't get a response, only to see the villain pointedly looking away from him. The hero giggled again, poking the villain's stomach gently, "Sunshine, you don't need to stop looking at me,"
The nickname alone made the villain's gaze snap back to the hero laying on top of him.
"I was just wondering why, I didn't mean for you to stop," he explained with a small smile.
"You'd laugh," the villain muttered, trying not to shift nervously and disturb the hero who was still practically half asleep.
"I would never," the hero replied more seriously, "If I ever did, it would be fondly, certainly not mockingly. I promise,"
The villain huffed. This was unfair. He couldn't say no to the two puppy dog eyes looking up at him now. He never could.
"I'm just trying to convince myself this is real," the villain admitted under his breath, "because it feels like a dream,"
He couldn't meet the hero's eyes while he spoke, but when he didn't immediately get a response, the villain dared a glance.
The hero was looking up at him with a big yet soft, genuine smile. He reached down, grabbing the villains hand with his own, pulling it in closer and subsequently pulling the villain's arm around him.
"This is real," The hero reassured, intertwining their fingers, "don't worry"
"I just... never thought I'd ever get to hear you say it,"
"Say what?" The hero asked in confusion.
The villain opened his mouth to reply, but stopped, blushing, like the words were caught in his throat. He bit his lip.
But the hero caught on quickly, a small smirk growing on his face.
"Ohhh,"
The villain glanced at him, before looking away again, cheeks darkening.
"I could always say it again you know, if you'd like," the hero offered, failing to hide the amusement in his voice.
The hero smiled as he felt the villain go statue still underneath him. He turned his face downwards, resting the side of his head against the villain's chest. Gently, he examined the villain's hand in his, tracing over the different scars lightly.
"I love you," the hero whispered quietly. Even he was too shy to say it while looking at the other.
In his ear, he could immediately hear the sound of the villain's heart rate pick up, suddenly thumping like a jackrabbit through the snow.
The hero immediately giggled in delight, which didn't help the pounding in his ear slow down any.
He went to say something, most likely a tease of some kind but was cut off by a large yawn, causing the villain above him to chuckle.
"You should go back to sleep darling, you can barely keep your eyes open,"
The villain felt slightly guilty, avoiding the hero for 4 days was probably part of the reason he was so tired.
"It's okay, I'm not- *yawn* - that sleepy..." the hero replied, despite clearly losing the battle to stay awake.
The villain just shook his head and scooped the hero up in his arms as he stood up.
"Wha-"
"Just moving you to bed,"
After laying the barely conscious hero down, he threw the blankets over him. Right as he went to pull away and head to his own bed, he felt something grab onto his hand.
The hero was looking up at him with a mixed expression of pleading, sad, and almost slightly betrayed.
The villain gave a defeated laugh.
Puppy eyes were so cheating.
"Move over,"
The hero's eyes lit up.
He barely got a chance to settle down under the covers before the hero was reattached to his chest snugly. The villain just idly began combing through the hero's hair.
They lay in content silence for a minute, before a barely audible mutter caught the villain's attention.
"I really don't mind you know,"
"Mind what?" The villain asked in confusion, staring at the ceiling above.
"The staring," the hero replied, voice barely discernible from where he was mumbling, barely conscious on the villain's chest, yet still somehow managing to snuggle even closer, "makes me feel safe,"
The villain looked down in shock, only to find the hero had finally waved the white flag and lost the battle of staying awake, now sound asleep.
The villain doubted the hero would even remember any of this conversation in the morning.
He was kind of banking on it because he would never live it down otherwise.
One way or another though, he was sure of two things.
One, he was in love.
And two, he was *definitely* sending supervillain a fruit basket after this.
