At the beginning of the month, I started @jessclively's Flow With Intention Online class (finally!) and it's been life changing. One of the things that came up on call that resonated with me deeply was the fact that many of us have this image of ourselves of a happy people but our energetic/emotional vibration isn't necessarily matching that a lot of the time. Essentially, what we are feeling in our bodies doesn't equate to feeling happy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In general, I think anyone would say I'm a positive, upbeat person and before this month, I had plenty of amazing, happy moments. Sometimes even moments of bliss and magic. But what I realized is that on a daily basis, much of my energy was just at this kind of blah level. It wasn't super low but it also wasn't super high. It was at the level of rushing around and going through the motions. I wasn't actually at the emotional frequenecy of "happy" throughout so much of my day. High vibe livin is something I always aimed for but I wasn't aware of how far off my actual emotional and vibrational experience was from that so much of the time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Becoming aware of this has changed so much. Little by little, moment by moment, I've been following what feels good, what feels exciting, what sounds fun, what feels like one more rung up the emotional ladder from where I might be at in any given moment. This approach (thanks to Jess) has resulted in so much more happiness and joy on a regular basis. I still have moments of blah and anger and ego and frustration, but because the frequency of happy has become so much more common, I'm much more aware of when I'm in a low vibe state and can do something to take a step up the emotional ladder. It's been fascinating to really pay attention to my emotions, to be honest with myself about them, and to see how different ones feel in my body. I'm nderstanding my very own shirt on a whole new cellular level and trying to have the guts to be honest about that instead of feeling like a fraud who didn't really know what that meant before.
