God, that uquiz really exploded in a way I wasn’t expecting, I expected a few friends I sent it to directly and a couple of mutuals on tumblr to take it, but currently it says over 12k people have taken it? which is bonkers. Anyway, my point is that I haven’t seen Most of the confessions from the final question; I can only look at each individual quiz-taker to see what, if anything, they wrote in response to the prompt. I’ve clicked on a number of them, most people don’t leave anything, but I’ve probably only seen like 100 that actually had any text left.

Here’s what I can say: people are tired and sad, they’re worried about the future, they feel alone and afraid. Many of those who decide to lift a weight from their chest are suffering, aching, from mental illness or abuse or loneliness, or something else entirely. Many are caught in a conflict between who they are, who they want to be, and who others think they are. Some offer apologies, some ask questions. Some are in love, and not quite sure what to do about it. Some write short messages, two or three words. I’ve seen a few write long paragraphs. 

I don’t know if it helps anyone, the little box at the end of a quiz that they can dump their troubles into anonymously, words packed away that might never be read, and never really followed up on. I hope it does, a little bit, to give them the space for release there. I hope the result they get on the quiz resonates and comforts them, or, failing that, I hope the result doesn’t hurt.

I hope they’re okay. I hope you’re all okay. 

I don’t think I can share most of the things people leave; although I am not religious, many feel... sacred, in a way. It would feel wrong to put them on display.

There is, however, one exception.

The best example I can make (which also serves as shameless promo for my friend LeaVDRAW) is Vali (at the right), the son of my summoner and Loki. So far we dont’ have confirmation if Loki has any relatives at all but we went ahead and made him anyways because it was funny XD
