First show on bass with @illuminatemeband was a success! Feels good to have an excuse to take the bass rig out of the studio for once, although I still hate moving it. Still absolutely in love with my @fender Marcus Miller Jazz Bass. Used the opportunity to re-build the bass pedalboard too. Pretty straightforward with the HM-2, Rat, and Sansamp all in the loop of the NS-2. Wired with the Boss solderless cables and the Lava solderless DC power cables. Thankful to all the other bands who played, everyone at @theslamhousefl for putting on this show, and most of all to @_crimmie_ for asking me to be a part of this band with him. Polline @ The Orpheum, Tampa FL 2000/01?. I had a lot of favorite Florida bands, but Polline was definitely way up there. I loved their homemade chime instrument thingy and the light-up bunny. I have no idea when this show was exactly, I’m guessing 2000, maybe 2001 and now that I think more about it, it could have been the same 11-18-2001 show as The Mercury Program (see my previous post for that little gem). Apologies for choppy/out-of-order footage; this shit’s 20 years old 😅! I did my best.

Ok, last night for some unknown reason, I dreamt about this band. I have not heard this song in AT LEAST 16 years and still knew all the lyrics 😂😂😭 . While at this point in life I cringe a little at how into the lyrics I used to be, I’m not going to lie, the nostalgia of this song still makes it a jam in my book. I just completely forgot it existed until I woke up this morning.
