i kind of assumed most of those posts about teens not understanding computers was not talking abt the 16-20 range but instead the 12-15 range
I would agree were it not for the fact that all of the posts I'm thinking about specify that they're talking about everyone under twenty, all gen z, or all middle-through-high schoolers. I've seen a few people go younger and say "no one under thirteen uses computers," but to that I say, did you, older person, regularly a computer before you were thirteen? a lot of young people don't have their own computers before that age because they don't regularly need to type long essays for school or write their own emails. I've already gotten a few younger teens on my posts saying they'd love to use computers more often but they need to wait until their parents get them their own and until then it's either their phones or computers at school and the library. for a lot of people, computers are a somewhat dangerous but very useful tool that you only get when you reach a certain age.
