June 5, 1944- the day before all their fates would be decided....or the day before the action would begin, as eighteen year old Private First Class Killian Turner thought, dark eyes scanning the small confines of Liverpool Base Camp more as procedure than any real concern. A small part of him yearned for the bustling streets of Belfast- or more like a certain russet-curled girl named Flora who had recently become his girl- yet the building anticipation of the fight, the glory of the upcoming battle overwhelmed that longing. Besides, with his uncle leading the company and his brother at his side, no harm would come to Gold Company- his company. Pulled from his thoughts at a slight disturbance on his right, he turned in a fluid motion, raising his P14 towards the sound. A few seconds passed before he lowered his weapon, calling out, "What d'ya think yer doing, Nori- I almost shot ya!"

At this point he had lost any hope of finding his soulmate. His clock was broken- it had to be, he mused darkly, the autumn festival lights of Hobbiton barely gaining a smile from the brooding Dwarf. Smoking his pipe agrressively, Kili scanned the crowd of Hobbits disinterestedly, envying their lighthearted laughter and lightfooted dancing...until his eyes alighted upon a flash of russet curls and a dazzling smile; his heart skipped a beat...and his clock flashed 00.00.00. Dark eyes widened with disbelief and joy as their owner stood, making his way towards her. With baited breath, he tapped her shoulder and bowed, asking, "May I have this dance?"

//A 2 week adventure actually- to another continent! Hopefully I will have wifi, but if not...I love you all and can not wait to return! Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! For sure though, I will not be on today or tomorrow- plane ride, you see ;)
