so i have a question for you about your vsmp fic, If you need me, I'll be in my coffin! first of all i love your writing so so much and every time it updates i start salivating and jumping around my room because every chapter is just. so good. :)
but i've also maybe noticed a pattern and i feel like I'm going insane and so far i haven't spotted any comments so far but i do have to ask. is scott trans in this fic? or am i over analysing everything and being completely crazy and wrong? I'll put evidence hold on:
Chapter 24: The Cuddlebugs
("Elbows between ribs, horrid with laughter, and a particular lack of things male, the strange pile is oddly extremely comfortable.") -scott, shelby and drift squished together on the floor
Chapter 34: The Monstrosity
("Oh, no. I've never met a werewolf and vampires don't menstruate, so I don't have stake in this game," Scott says, shaking his head. "It's about logic! And anyway—wait, what does that imply about before you were a vampire?" Drift asks, eyebrows raising. "No, I didn't meet a werewolf then either," Scott says, shrugging. "That isn't…" Drift stops herself. Then, silently, Drift blinks a few times.) -scott and drift while talking about the phrase 'time of the month'
and I'm sure there's more that I've forgotten but i need to know please pretty please with a cherry on top, am i going insane or not? sorry if this is long or annoying to read :/ i really do love your fic though, it's so well written and the characterisation is just chef's kiss. ty :))
The first one is a joke about how Scott is usually pressed between male bodies, cause gay---while also pointing out that physically the pile isn't very comfortable or normal for him, but is very comfortable this time emotionally because of friendship. He's just being soft.
The second one is a joke about how he implied he got a period before he was a vampire, yeah. Whether it was because he was fucking with Drift or it was an accident (and the universe was fucking with Drift) you decide lol. The joke was about how Drift felt like everyone was missing extremely obvious implications about "that time of the month" because Shelby and Pearl were too focused on werewolves, so when she turned to Scott for some logic, he just added to it instead. Poor Drift.
Scott is not canonically trans in the fic, but you can interpret him that way if you want (other people have in fact asked in the comments too lol). His biological sex and gender identity are not plot relevant, so it won't come up or really make him being cis canon ig. Go wild
