It’s been months and I can say my negative feelings over the finale have only grown from my initial anger and disappointment. 

That said I’m also still one of the hopeful ones. I’m cautiously optimistic and waiting to see what the future will bring us. 

There has been a follow-up blue post that the nervy changes are still being trialled and may not go through. they won’t be coming with the Halloween patch. Unless you are talking about Lucio…then…rip

I don’t think that wanting a mentally well rp partner is necessarily a bad thing. I mean. The nature of rp (if you hit it off) leads to some pretty intense interpersonal relationships. If the other person in it is unwell it can get toxic fast.

EthHandprint: What is one non-physical characteristic about your character that is unique?He has a peculiar ability to undergo rapid paradigm shifts, convincing himself that what he’s doing is just and right—all so he doesn’t lose touch with the Light.  Well.  Mostly so he doesn’t lose touch with the Light.  He also does it so he can lie more convincingly when he absolutely has to.It’s very not-good for his mental health, let me fucking tell you.Chopsticks: Does your character have any special talents or skills? How useful are they?This particular height-challenged pile of garbage is very talented.  He’s got impressive healing skills with the Light, and he’s a pretty little songbird, lovely singing voice. [He also favors stringed instruments, harps and recently he got his grubby paws on a mandolin.] Less likely to be mentioned are his skills in forgery and counterfeiting, and his ever-improving interest in thievery.[Just to sass the prompt I’d like to point out he can’t use chopsticks though.  The one time he was exposed to them, he stabbed a piece of meat with one stick and continued on that way until someone—Arieh—took pity on him and procured him a fork.  Nurse/cop AU Eth is very unashamed about asking for forks whenever the two of them go out for noms.]News: Does your character watch, read, or keep up with the news? What are their favourite types of stories?Eth’s interest lies more in… well, honestly, gossip.  He likes talking to people—important people, little people, people who see things and hear things.  He’s very warm and friendly and just fucking exudes this aura of trustworthiness that gets tongues wagging.  And generally, he keeps people’s secrets.  Generally.Now and then he’ll get a newspaper and go through it, but really, he prefers to poke and prod at people over cold, expressionless text.

CeerMyth: Does your character have any beliefs that are simply not correct or acceptable?He’s kind of got a bit of a savior complex [that he is actively working to fix, though].  He is a powerful man—and as a powerful man, he feels that yes, he should be able to save/protect everyone he cares about from every little thing that threatens or harms them, or even just fucks up their day.It’s kind of upsetting to be proven wrong.  Not upsetting in the sense of him getting frustrated or disappointed and taking it out on anyone, but just… really quietly disheartening.  What good is power if he can’t save the people he cares about?  His heart is in a good place but he really.  Needs to accept that there are just some things he cannot fix.  Despite the belief that he should be able to fix everything.Fire: What is your character’s most irritating pet peeve? Why does it irk them so much?Vinyls.  I’m so glad I drafted this because oh my god you know I’d fuck with him endlessly about this pedantic insistence he’s got on the correct plural of vinyl being vinyl and not vinyls.I almost wanted it to be something more important but nope, Ceer’s biggest pet peeve is shitty grammar he doesn’t agree with.  That’s it, that’s the show, you wanna irritate this trashbaby just start using words incorrectly.  Look him dead in the eye and whisper ‘irregardless’.Adversary: Who is your character’s arch rival? If not a specific person, an idea, belief, or entity?There’s this really.  Shitty.  Jerkface.  Fuckoff of an undead shadow priest, Simon.  Talented shadow priest.  Hella talented.  Utterly batshit insane, used to want to make Ceer a proper Sylvanas-adoring forsaken.  He kind of lost interest, however, and Ceer hasn’t gotten any creepy love-letters from him in quite some time now.Ceer has a short list of people he’d call enemies but for the most part they’ve all fucked off, which is great.  And while he knows people of similar skill in his chosen field, he prefers to call them contemporaries rather than anything so petty as rivals.
