11 Facts:

1.  I can't swim

2. I used to take horseback riding lessons when I was younger: both English and Western style.

3.  I pronounce bear like beer.

4.  I have an extreme fear of pigeons. 

5.  I have a lightening bolt tattoo behind my right ear.

6. I have terrible spelling.

7.  I can't stand it when people tell me I took like i'm twelve.  It's seriously insulting.

8.  When I was in middle school, I was obsessed with Wicked and was convinced I was going to be Glinda on Broadway when I was older.

9.  I went to Catholic school from K-8.

10.  I aced my constitution test in high school by watching School Hose Rock the night before.

11.  I have yet to kiss anyone despite having had a boyfriend back in high school.

Ashley's Questions:

1. What is your favorite genre?

I'm a huge fan of fantasy novels and stuff like that.  I also like when it's like set in a historical time period too since history is my one of my other loves.

2.  Is there a time in your life when you read all the time?

For sure! When I was in grade school, we had this thing called Accelerated Reader where basically you read a book and then took a quiz on the computer after.  Depending on what score you got, you would get those points added to your account or something.  At the end of the year, you could redeem those points for cool prizes.  So obviously I wanted the coolest prize so I read like half the books we had in our library.

3.  How important is the cover of a book to you?

It won't really affect (effect?) my opinion of the book, like I'm going to read the book regardless of the cover.  I do however appreciate a good book cover (i.e. the new harry potter covers are gorgeous!) 

4.  Do you like making book recommendations to people?

Of for sure! If I've read an amazing book, I want everyone to know about it.

5.  Is there a book you just couldn’t finish?

I haven't finished either of JKR's new mystery novels.  The language in them was just a little harder for me to get a hang of than normal.  I want to try to finish them this summer though.

6.  Who is your favorite author?

God, that's so hard for me to pick. JKR is def up there for me since her books changed my life.  Then John Green of course because of the community surrounding him and his books helped to introduce me to two of my best friends.  I'm also a huge fan of Rick Riordan because his trolling on twitter always gets me.  Finally, I'm a new fan of Markus Zusack after reading The Book Thief.  His writing in that book was just phenomenal. 

7.  What is the strangest book you’ve ever read?

Twilight man.  That book if fucked up.

8.  Who is your favorite character?

Oh god, I would have to say it's a three way tie between Annabeth, Lisel and Claire from the Time Traveler's Wife.

9. Have you ever made a friend because you were both reading the same book?

I mean I became close with a lot of people by making them read TFIOS hehe

10.  What fictional job would you most like to have?

Def. something to do with the wizarding world! I think I'd be cool doing anything there really.

11. What are you reading right now?

I'm rereading the Book Thief XD
