And now, for no reason at all.. My WoW OCs as pies
Karvosh: Strawberry-Rhubarb pie, because a weird mix of sweet and bitter, and rhubarb leaves are poisonous so you have to be careful when making it.
Exaara: Apple pie, because it's traditional, sweet, and you practically can't go wrong with it.
Flintgut: Steak and kidney pie, because it's flavourful, uncommon, and not for everyone but never so bad it's unwelcome. Also because meat pies are always served smaller than dessert pies.
Andaakt: Pecan pie, because it's delicious but can be deadly if the wrong person eats it.
Emilicie: S'mores pie.. because is that even a pie? What is this nonsense? Who put this pile of junkfood in a pile and called it a pie?
Inspection (Closed Rp with Blastflight)
Flintgut grumbled to himself under his breath as he headed along one of the upper decks of Booty Bay. He had been ordered by the Commander to inspect an alchemy shop that had been supplying them with various potions for some time now, as the Commander apparently was planning on doing some investing if it turned out to be a business of good repute.
The dwarf was considerably less enthused than his commanding officer. His stride was as slow and sturdy as one would expect with the amount of weaponry (including a rifle strapped to his back that was nearly twice his size) and equipment he bore, which made him look far more like he was about to march into a battlefield than inspect a goblin-owned shop. Flintgut just had enough bad experiences with goblins to perceive the two as being more similar than not.
While he was a bitter and unenthused dwarf, he was never one to hesitate or waste time, so when he approached "The Wagging Flask" he didn't stop to collect himself before rapping his gloved knuckles firmly against the door.
This was going to be a long day.
What are your OCs doing for Children's Week?
Karvosh isnāt going to do anything.Ā While she doesnāt necessarily āhateā kids, she feels uncomfortable around them. This is mostly because she never really was fully socialized with children due to her upbringing, and her own childhood was extremely short since the Third War forced her to grow up very quickly (she was a child soldier pretty much the moment the internment camps were liberated). So, she doesnāt quite āclickā with children. On the other hand, she also avoids children because of the fact she does care about them, and wants them to retain as much innocence and have as much of a childhood as she never got to have, but she just knows she would not be able to contribute positively to that; sheās territorial, aggressive, and has difficulty controlling her own strength at times. Basically, sheās bad with kids, but she knows she is, and cares enough about kids that she wants them to be happy, which means -without- her.
Exaara and Andaakt are both going to be working on having a few Childrenās Week events in the Draenor garrison run by the Justicars; early in the Draenor campaign, Exaara had an impromptu orphanage set up within the garrison so orphaned children, or children separated from their parents, could have somewhere safe to stay and to make sure they are fed and cared for. This includes easily half a dozen Orcish orphans among the others, because Exaara refuses to burden the young with the actions of the old. The two of them would set up fun activities for them, and have other members of the garrison help them make baked goods so the kids get the chance to celebrate and hopefully take their minds off of the war. Flintgut would definitely be helping with the baking (likely using engineering to try and speed up the process.. With varied results).
Emilicie.. Uh, yeah, sheād either sleep through the entire ordeal, forget the holiday was even that week, or not really care. Sheād probably just go about her usual business of boozing, snoozing, or mooching off of her cousin. Sheās not fond of kids, so Childrenās week tends to slip her mind on a yearly basis.
ā ā ā
ā - Flintgut is my only straight character
ā Ā - Exaara was originally inspired by Samara from Mass Effect; a fearless warrior woman who lays down the law with cold efficiency that you would never guess was a loving mother of two. Ironically, Exaara now leads a guild called !
ā Karvosh is illiterate. She can speak Orcish fine but usually has to have orders read to her if theyāre delivered in written form. She avoids any opportunities to learn out of shame.Ā

For any: if they had the option to do ONE thing without fear of consequences, what would they do?
Flintgut scratches his beard as he ponders the question for several minutes, taking his time to formulate an answer.Ā
Clearing his throat, he rest his hands on his hips before stating,Ā āI think I would try to build my own airship. One of the big ones like we had in Northrend and Pandaria.. Always wanted to pilot something like that. Itās just so beautiful! Theyāre like bumble bees: so bulky and fat with ammunition but somehow still airborne!āThe dwarf lets out a wistful sigh, resting one hand on the arclight spanner hilted in his belt,Ā ābut I donāt have nearly enough assistants to help man something that large, let alone the materials. The Alliance needs all the machines it can get, so Iād have no right, or legal ability, to build an airship for personal use. Not to mention theyāre as dangerous as it gets for an unprepared pilot, but maybe if the war ever ends. Maybe.āWith a hopeful grin, Flintgut raises a bushy black eyebrow,Ā āuntil then, Iāll just stick to piloting my flying machine whenever I feel the need to take to the air. That or I might see if any of my fellow engineers are willing to part with the plans,ā he says, cheekily tapping the side of his nose with one finger.Ā
ā in the Lord of the Rings. Any time in the franchise
Oh jeez! My knowledge of Lord of the Rings is kind of super limited so, uh, bear with me, I guess!
Exaara would be a soldier of Gondor, mostly because of the combined aesthetic of the winged helms and massive tower shields that theyāre shown as having in the Jackson trilogy. Just seems to be the most fitting to me for my Draenei who wields a giant shield and would never surrender against overwhelming forces. Being an elite paladin herself, she would likely serve as one of the Guards of the Citadel as well, who were tasked with defending the upper levels of Minas Tirith, so she could essentially serve as theĀ ālast line of defenseā considering her skill as well as nearly inhuman strength (sheās tall and muscular in any universe, so maybe she might have some elf blood in Lord of the Rings to explain her skill? Not sure).Ā
Emilicie would probably just be one of the lower class who turns to thievery, I guess either from Gondor or maybe Laketown, though the latter might be more fitting considering the whole smaug thing means they went through a tragedy similar in a way to what happened to Silvermoon. Unless she makes money, sheād pretty much flee every major conflict; she isnāt a hero of Middle Earth, thatās for certain.Ā
Karvosh would be I guess the Lord of the Ringsās first canon female Uruk-Hai. Sheās tall, broad-shouldered, and full of sadistic rage and anger that is only held back by her own military discipline, which is what divided the Uruk-hai from the Orcs if my memory serves correctly. She might even have ended up one of the berserkers, which I believe were the ones who wore only a helmet and not much else, considering more often than not what keeps her going in a fight is sheer adrenaline mixed with indomitable rage.Ā
Andaakt would likely be an elf, considering she is already a bitĀ āwispyā in regards to her physique and character, but also because of how linked she is to the world around her thanks to her faith as a priestess. Iām not exactly sure which clan/city sheād be from, though.Ā
Flintgut would naturally be a dwarf, though Iām not sure where from. Considering he is half Dark Iron (though he passes as a Bronzebeard), I suppose it would be fitting for him to be from Erebor considering he would understand the loss of home and homeland that his warcraft counterpart understands; He cannot ever return to Blackrock Depths, and while he feels no urge to, the feeling that he essentially has no birthplace is a source of constant discomfort to him. Also since guns are apparently not invented in Middle Earth, I imagine he would instead use a crossbow mechanically altered to reload itself in a method similar to a revolver.Ā
Flintgut, how often do you go to Goldshire? Have you ever paid some there for 'services'?
The dwarf looks at the other person with eyes visibly narrowed, even behind his goggles.Ā āI have only been there for the bachelor party for a friend, and I havenāt paid for anyĀ āservicesā, thank you,ā he huffed in a low growl, his voice as thickly accented as ever. Folding his arms, he looked to the asker with a stern expression,Ā āI havenāt paid forĀ āservicesā, if you want to callĀ āem that, because Iām not interested, not because Iām an uppity arsehole who thinks himself above sex workers. I respect anyone who can work a job like that when they get berated so often for just making a living.ā
